School Crossing @ Armitage/Point, Wires Low On Richmond (Zone E monitoring)

Good morning, everyone, it's 6:41am. It's a mostly cloudy morning with temps in the upper 60s, and today will consist of rain and thunderstorms with temps reaching the mid 80s. We'll see how that goes. Today, I'm monitoring the Zone E area (Palmer to Bloomingdale, Humboldt to Rockwell) and then tomorrow, I'm monitoring 25, then Thursday I'll be monitoring the Zone B area (Palmer to Bloomingdale, Leavitt to Wood). As I said yesterday, Memorial Day started my summer season monitoring schedule, which is monitoring everyday, all day, or at least at all times possible from now until the end of August. With that being said, from Sunday, June 2nd, until Wednesday, June 5th, or Thursday, June 6th (haven't decided for sure yet), I am going to go on a blog vacation to enjoy some time to myself before I start my summer class and summer season monitoring. With that, here's crime for today.

7:39am - Beat 1445 has a school crossing at Armitage and Point from 7:45 until 8:15.

1:04pm - Information for the CPD. 20XX N Richmond. School is concerned about a light pole being hit, wires are low.

3:39pm - Sex offense. 19XX N Fairfield. Male Black with a green hoodie and orange shirt is playing with himself in front.

3:54pm - Traffic accident. Rockwell and Armitage. Two cars, no injures.

6:07pm - Battery in progress. Milwaukee and Rockwell. Two guys on bikes VS an older male.

7:02pm - I have to go eat. I'll be back in a little bit.

7:32pm - I'm back. Good evening, everyone.

8:28pm - Parker. On 1431's Beat.

8:55pm - Residential alarm. 20XX N Stave.

9:42pm - Disturbance. 18XX N Fairfield. Male White, 27 years old, orange shirt and white shorts is stumbling in the alley.

11:20pm - 10-1. 10-1. May and Cullerton. Off-duty P.O. behind the park fieldhouse has 30 subjects and they're not cooperating with him at all, I guess there's a big fight or something going on. All available units in 12 are being advised to go, and I'm sure we'll start hearing 14th District units go soon.

11:21pm - Multiple calls are coming in on the 10-1. Call-taker could hear him yelling "GET ON THE GROUND!", calls of a big gang fight going on. Oh Lord...

11:22pm - A slow down is being given on the 10-1 per Beat 1282Henry. They're with the officer.

11:23pm - A total disregard is being given on the 10-1. With that, back to our area of coverage.

Off-duty cop stopping 30 or so guys in a park? Is that guy soft or one of those Cook County Corrections guys? Most of these guys won't do anything at work, but off-duty? Sounds like nonsense.

Lester, Cook County Correction officers deal with an average of 80 inmates per one officer. They do not carry a gun either. CCDOC officers work much harder than the CPD. The CookCounty Jail is a urban zoo.

I'm tired of seeing the same homeless winos every day in my neighborhood. Why cant the police do something?

Yeah right, Corrections guys just couldn't pass the test. Therefore could only be a turn-key jailer. If they can't carry firearms at work, why off-duty? They have no arrest powers.
