Good morning, everyone, it's 11am. It's another beautiful late morning with temps in the mid 70s, and today will be mostly sunny with temps around 80 again. Some very nice weather we've been having lately. Once again, I am monitoring Zone D (Armitage to North Ave., California to Damen), but in time fragments this time. I will be covering from now until 2:30pm, then again from 4:07 to 6:58, and then from 9 to midnight. Tomorrow, I will be monitoring Zone F (Wellington to Palmer, Sacramento to Rockwell). This evening, I will be heading to CAPS Beat 2524's meeting at Our Lady of Grace Church on Ridgeway. The meeting starts at 7 for anyone who lives on that Beat and would like to go. I'd like to see those of you who live on the Beat to come out. With that, here's crime for portions of today.
11:27am - Burglar alarm. 1669 N Milwaukee Ave.
12:16pm - Beat 1462David is doing a CTA check at the Western Blue Line station. Event number is 07687.
1:35pm - Burglary report. 18XX N Farifield. Caller's door was kicked in, they want CPD to make sure no one's in there still.
1:51pm - Residential panic alarm. 18XX N Hoyne.
2:30pm - I'm going to go until 4:07. I'll be back then. Have a good afternoon, everyone!
4:07pm - I'm back. Good afternoon, everyone.
4:32pm - Beat 1405 is doing a park check at Maplewood. Event number is 12628.
6:58pm - I'm going to go until 9pm. I'll be back then. Have a good start to your evening, everyone!
9:00pm - I'm back. Good evening, everyone.
9:11pm - Not in the Zone D area, but we've got a report of a level #1 HazMat at Barry and Washtenaw. Not sure what's going on with it, really, but I'll keep you all updated.
9:13pm - Dispatch is saying that the ticket on that HazMat says the sewer is leaking over there.
9:16pm - Beat 1441 is saying that the HazMat is bona fide. According to CFD, leaks like that from sewers are a regular occurrence. So everything's good, and with that, just back to the Zone D area.
10:32pm - Some call on the 1600 block of N Fairfield.
12:00am - I'm going to go for the night. I'll be back in the morning. Have a good night, everyone.
