Good morning, everyone, it's 7:33am. It's a beautiful morning with temps in the upper 60s and with sunshine. Today's going to be about 80 with sunshine. I should be here most of the day, except for around 2:30pm to about 4pm, as I have to run a couple of really important errands. Sorry guys. But with that said, here's crime for today.
8:14am - Traffic accident. Fullerton and Pulaski. Couple of calls.
8:59am - Theft. 3911 W Armitage. Male and female in a blue Dodge Caravan stole some metal from a tree. Last seen heading east towards Avers on Armitage.
9:13am - Disturbance. 3801 W Belmont. Group of males loitering in the parking lot at Dunkin Donuts.
9:44am - Disturbance. Lawndale and Fullerton. Group of guys drinking.
10:43am - Wanted for robbery from 3514 W Fullerton are two male Hispanics that stole a black/gold Chevy Blazer with a plate of N213881. It was last seen heading west towards Central Park, coming into 25. This is coming over from the 14th District per Beat car 1431. The plate registers back to an address on the 3500 block of S Wallace in the 9th District.
11:20am - Parker. On 2523's Beat.
11:55am - Robbery. 3755 W Armitage. Male Black, 18 years old, 6 feet tall, blue t-shirt and black shorts hit the caller in the head, pepper-sprayed him and took their chain, then fled south in the alley in a gray Honda. Caller think they've seen this guy before too.
12:15pm - Barking dog. 16XX N Harding.
1:33pm - Gang disturbance. 36XX W Dickens.
2:20pm - I have to go run some errands. I'll be back a little later.
4:05pm - And I'm back.
4:11pm - Gang disturbance. Wrightwood and Kostner. By the park.
4:31pm - Some stuff on 2523's Beat.
4:46pm - 1) Panic alarm. 28XX N Kostner. 2) Check the well being. 42XX W Wrightwood. Male Hispanic with a white shirt and khaki pants keeps walking into the street.
4:52pm - DOA. 28XX N Harding. Elderly female.
4:55pm - Disturbance. 4400 W Diversey. At the currency.
5:20pm to 6:30pm - I fell asleep. I'm really sorry about that, guys.
6:39pm - Person w/ a gun. Lawndale and McLean. Male Hispanic with a white tanktop, headed towards Dickens.
6:48pm - Criminal damage. 21XX N Lawndale. Caller's car window was busted out.
7:06pm - Suspicious vehicle. Koz Park. Two-door Dodge Ram keeps circling the park area, possibly occupied by gangbangers who are looking for drugs.
7:18pm - I have to go eat. I'll be back soon.
7:30pm - I'm back.
7:52pm - Suspicious person. 28XX N Avers.
8:05pm - Gang disturbance. Diversey and Lawndale.
8:13pm - Person w/ a knife. 3850 W North Ave. At the North-Pulaski Food Market. Male pulled a knife on the clerk and then ran out of the store, heading east towards Avers.
8:24pm - Drag racing. On 2523's Beat.
8:32pm - Beat 2546 has an on-view battery at Karlov and Armitage. EMS needed for a man knocked out cold by two others. They've got the offenders on scene, who are resisting arrest. Couple of cars needed. Beat car 2531 is headed over, along with Beat 2573, the wagon.
8:39pm - 25th District Desk is being advised that 2546 and 2573 are coming in with two fighters from the 8:32pm thing through the back. They need to have some officers waiting for them.
8:40pm - Disturbance. 3633 W Fullerton.
8:47pm - Gang disturbance. 38XX W Schubert. Two of them sitting on a window ledge causing a problem.
9:35pm - Suspicious vehicle. 42XX W George.
10:32pm - Disturbance. 4010 W Armitage.
10:38pm - Battery in progress. 19XX N Monticello.
11:39pm - Some disturbances on 2525Robert's Beat.
