Good morning, everyone, it's 8am. It's a pretty cloudy morning with temps in the upper 70s. It's going to be a real hot one, and a sunny day, with temps in the upper 90s, approaching 100. Today, I'm monitoring 25 from now until 4pm. Why am I only monitoring 'til 4, you ask? You see, I have a Placement test at Wright College tomorrow I have to take, and I would like to get a good night's sleep for it. And before I go to bed this evening, there's some other things I need to do. Tomorrow, I'll monitor 25 from 4pm until midnight. With that, here's crime for today.
9:00am - Theft. 4424 W Diversey.
9:10am - Disturbance. 2003 N Pulaski. At the Marathon station. Male harassing customers.
9:31am - Beat 2582Foot is doing a foot patrol along Milwaukee this morning, from Belmont to Central Park.
9:54am - Some call in the area, I believe on 2525's Beat.
10:15am - Disturbance. 29XX N Ridgeway. Group of vagrants drinking.
10:43am - The 10:16am call is coded a 19Boy.
11:19am - 10-1. 10-1. 5430 W Jackson. Cook County Sheriff is calling a 10-1. There was a call of an accident here four minutes ago.
11:20am - A disregard is being given on Jackson. Everything's ok over there. Back to just our neighborhood.
12:44pm - Disturbance. 3181 N Milwaukee Ave. At the Shell gas station. Male White, 6 feet tall, dirty PJs, no shoes taking trash from the trash can.
1:03pm - Reckless driver. North and Pulaski. Blue Toyota.
1:11pm - Wires down. 18XX N Pulaski.
1:16pm - Disturbance. 18XX N Harding. Neighbor's involved in an argument.
1:17pm - Parker. On 2525's Beat.
1:24pm - Beat 2554 is saying that, from the 1:11pm job, that there are wires hanging down, but they're not electrical.
1:31pm - Assist the citizen. 28XX N Kilbourn. Caller tracked their stolen iPad and iPhone.
1:53pm - Residential alarm. 20XX N Kedvale.
2:04pm - Beat car 2522 needs another car at the 1:53pm job. He's got an open door. 2520's going to slide over to assist.
3:28pm - Burglar alarm. 3651 W Schubert. At the Monroe school.
