Overnight Backlog Finally Taken Out

Good morning, everyone, it's 6:25am. It's a clear morning (well techinally, still night, as there's still a night sky) with temps in the lower 40s. Today will start out sunny, but then there will be an increase in clouds throughout the day and rain tonight. Today will get into the mid 60s. Anyway, I'm monitoring 25 from now until 9am, then I'm gone until 9:30pm this evening, at which time I'll come back and monitor until midnight. This week, I have a very important community meeting to attend on Wednesday evening. I'll fill you all in, if I make a post, tomorrow or Tuesday. With that, here's crime for this early morning and evening.

6:56am - Backlog taken out of 25 at 06:56 hours. This is from the overnight shift. Wow, must've been a busy night.

8:17am - EMS run. 30XX N Davlin. Man down in a gold Buick.

8:38am - Ambulance 48 is taking the victim to the hospital.

8:55am - Parker. On 2523's Beat.

9:00am - I'm going to go until 9:30pm. I'll be back. See you all then. Have a great day, everyone!

9:30pm - I'm back. Good evening, everyone.

9:53pm - EMS run. George and Harding. Man down on the NW corner. EMS enroute.

10:18pm - I think there was a call on 2524's Beat.

10:37pm - Assault. 21XX N Keystone. Male Hispanic, 31 years old, thin, light complected, 160 lbs, 5'8, black shirt and jeans threatened the caller.

10:55pm - Gang disturbance. Monticello and Wabansia.

11:08pm - Shots Fired. 2800 block of N Ridgeway and 28XX N Hamlin. Several heard; the Ridgeway call gives 6. No descriptions. No further.

11:11pm - A slow down is being given on the 11:08pm calls.

12:00am - I'm going to go. I'll be back either sometime this week or next weekend. See you all around. Have a good night, everyone.

Those backlogs are nonsense. The cops are hiding out on jobs, plain and simple. I hear that all the late 6pm? cars are all on special missions in 025. Only in 025, the land of wayward unwanted cops.

Junior, its because many calls are nonsense. Kid won't do homework loud dog barking, mental needs transport, drunk passed out on street ect..The citizens need to take some responsibility.

Most of the police dept. know 025 is the dumping ground for cops. Even the bosses know. If a new white shirt shows up in 025, its because he screwed up elsewhere.
