Good afternoon, everyone, it's 1:18pm. It's a sunny but cold day out there. It's in the 40s. Why am I on here during school hours, you ask? This is my lunch break, and I was allowed on the computer. So yeah, lol :). I won't be blogging today after I get off the computer once my break is over, though. I'll be back tomorrow evening. So with that, here's crime for a small portion of the afternoon.
1:32pm - We've got an officer at Kelvyn Park High School, doing what sounds like a premise check.
1:39pm - Beat 2582 is doing segway patrol on Fullerton from Cicero to Pulaski. Event number is 08641.
1:40pm - Dep. practice report. 4400 W Diversey.
1:53pm - I have to go, so with that, good night everyone. I'll see you all tomorrow.

Whatever happened to EX-mayor Daley's 10year plan to eliminate homelessness in Chicago. The bums seem to be everywhere.
Why does the police have to get involved in schools? Let the teachers deal with the problems they created with their students.

I agree with you to a point, anonymous 5:17. Some teachers really do create problems with their students, but most don't. Most of these youth these days take everything way too personal and get into fights for the dumbest reasons. Not to mention that they want to fit in and be a part of this stupid rap/thug "young money" culture that they see on TV and hear on the radios.
