Good morning, everyone, it's 6:51am. It appears to be a rainy day outside. The rain is supposed to clear up by late morning, though. But it is supposed to remain cloudy for most of the day. Anyway, tomorrow, I'll be monitoring 17 for our residents North of Belmont. I have nothing else to say at this time, so here's crime for today.
6:51am - Beat car 2523 gets a disturbance with drunks on Milwaukee.
7:00am - I'm going to go for a little while. I'll be back. I have a mission to do on Milwaukee :).
8:51am - I'm back for now.
9:10am - Disturbance. 3122 N Milwaukee. 15 males in the alley, drinking and blocking the alley. When I went by there at 8:20, there was a pretty big group there.
9:16am - EMS run. 4336 W Parker. Sister's in a daze because the other sister tried to harm herself.
9:30am - Some call for 4130 W Oakdale.
9:36am - Beat car 2524 codes out the Oakdale job because there was no answer on the call back.
9:44am - I'm gone for a little bit. I'll be back.
10:16am - I'm back for the time being.
10:32am - A unit is doing a premise check at 2933 N Avers.
10:37am - Coming into the 15th District from Broadview Police is a sliver Chevy that's going on I-290 towards Austin. It was involved in a car jacking.
10:38am - The car's been spotted in Chicago. East on Jackson from Central. Heading towards Lotus.
10:39am - The car's been involved in an accident. Jackson and Lockwood. The driver ran towards Adams.
10:45am - The guy just now took a ComEd truck in the 5300 block of W Congress.
11:51am - Disturbance. 3141 N Hamlin. Group of guys drinking in the alley.
11:56am - Parker. On 2523's Beat.
11:58am - Domesitc battery. 2856 N Ridgeway. Boyfriend hit the caller.
12:06pm - An RD number has been pulled from the 11:58am job. It's HS400111 with the event number of 06887.
12:19pm - I'm gone for a little bit. I'll be back.
12:40pm - I'm back until my dinner.
1:29pm - Battery in progress. Diversey and Kilbourn. Teens fighting.
1:33pm - A slow down is being given on the 1:33pm job.
1:42pm - Domestic disturbance. 2120 N Karlov. Boyfriend took the child and the car, but he's walking. WTF??
1:44pm - Stolen recover vehicle. 2307 N Keeler.
1:57pm - Backlog in 25 at 13:57 hours.
2:32pm - Traffic accident. Milwaukee and Hamlin.
2:35pm - EMS run. 2941 N Avers. One of the drunks living in the abandoned building has apparently died. In the basement.
2:42pm - 1) Disturbance. 3107 N Haussen. 8 males drinking and urinating in front. The kids shouldn't be seeing that. 2) Traffic accident. Diversey and Monticello.
3:24pm - Suspicious vehicle. 4338 W Fullerton. A vehicle, older model, that looks like a squad car, is left abandoned.
3:34pm - Animal abuse. Milwaukee and Hamlin. A drunk, 60s, no shirt is swinging his shirt at the birds. He's also grabbing them and choking them. Sorry, but ... LOL! That's funny, to me at least.
3:42pm - The 3:34pm job is coded 19Boy. Now, Beat car 2523 is doing a park check at Ken-Well.
4:00pm - Gang disturbance. 3100 block of N Lawndale. They're scaring the children.
4:09pm - Parker. 2530 N Hamlin.
4:28pm - Criminal trespass. 2526 N Kildare.
5:13pm - Disturbance. 3640 W Dickens. Males loitering.
5:34pm - An RD number from 3555 W Cortland has been pulled. It's for domestic battery. It's HS400XXX with the event number of 12733.
6:00pm - Battery in progress. Diversey and Avers. Gang-related fight between 7 to 10 guys.
6:01pm - A Park District employee at Koz Park is reporting that a group is fighting in the park.
6:04pm - A total disregard is being given at Koz Park.
6:10pm - A unit has a stop at 2730 N Hamlin. From the fight at Koz.
6:15pm - Sex offense. Fullerton and Central Park. Caller says that a female Hispanic, 27, green t-shirt and blue jeans asked him if he would like to do stuff with her ... yeah. Ahem. She's walking towards Monticello.
6:55pm - I have to go eat. I'll be back.
7:08pm - I'm back.
7:09pm - Gang disturbance. 3100 block of N Monticello. 10 of them flashing signs and smoking weed.
7:12pm - Assault. 3607 W Fullerton. At Tony's. Caller was threatened.
7:30 to 8:10pm - My computer was acting stupid around 8:10, so I had to close it down. Unfortunately, I lost the calls for this time period. Sorry. Nothing major happened, though.
8:13pm - Domestic battery. 2602 N Harding. Boyfriend hit the caller.
8:18pm - Sounds like the entire 2600 block of N Harding is domesticating. There's calls all over that block for domestics.
8:20pm - Everyone's approaching Beat car 2525 now on the block of domestics, as they pull up.
8:43pm - Open hydrant. Wellington and Hamlin. Kids playing in the water on the street. Street's getting flooded.
9:42pm - Gang disturbance. 3959 W Armitage. 10 to 15 of them loitering and drinking in front.
9:56pm - Battery in progress. Fullerton and Pulaski. Two people fighting in the street.
9:58pm - The 9:56pm job is now also coming in as Fullerton and Avers, behind the Jimenez grocery store. Meanwhile, 2524 asks for a call back on some job on Monticello. I didn't hear anything for Monticello in the last hour or so, though.
11:12pm - Recover the stolen vehicle. 1618 N Monticello.
11:16pm - Fireworks. Dickens and Lawndale.
11:24pm - Beat car 2523Robert is doing a premise check at 2933 N Avers.
11:39pm - Disturbance. 2641 N Avers. Drinkers.
11:41pm - Someone's banging on a black Toyota in front of 2639 Avers.
11:52pm - Disturbance. Shakespeare and Lawndale. 15 males loitering.
12:00am - I'm gone with 25 until Saturday. Standby for 17...
