Area North Detectives and Great Lakes Task Force Capture Accused Child Rapist / Attempted Murderer

Luis Pantoja
A teenage girl on the Northwest Side, her family, and the entire community can now rest much easier!! Chicago Police Detectives assigned to the Area North Detective Division at Belmont and Western have arrested and charged Luis Pantoja with attempted 1st-degree murder and aggravated criminal sexual assault in the brutal attack last month that sent the teenage female victim to the hospital and has caused her a lifetime of suffering.

Pantoja, who lives just blocks from the scene of the attack, was arrested on Friday "through the work of Chicago Police Detectives and the Great Lakes Fugitive Task Force," Chicago police said in a brief statement released on Sunday.

He appeared in Cook County criminal court briefly Sunday, but the bond hearing in his case has been delayed until Tuesday. In the meantime, he'll be held in the Cook County jail without bail.

Although this man is a piece of garbage. Why was his bond hearing postponed? This could be challenged in court by his lawyer.

I'VE BEEN FOLLOWING THIS STORY. IT WAS A VERY HORRIBLE AND SAD CRIME. I HOPE SOMEONE KILS HIM HORRIBLY IN COUNTY JAIL

It was postponed because the man is deaf and mute and there was noone available to deal with him. Lawyer will not be able to challenge it.
