Good morning, everyone, it's 12am. I originally said I wasn't going to monitor today, but I feel like I should monitor for at least a little while. I'm covering 25. I also plan on covering 25 tomorrow, though I don't know what times I will cover. I will be on a special schedule for Tuesday and Wednesday, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, respectively. With that, here's crime for a portion of today.
12:01am - EMS run. 23XX N Karlov. 89 year old, possible DOA.
12:11am - Fire. 26XX N Avers. Smoke coming from a vacant building.
12:13am - Criminal damage. Armitage and Pulaski. Male hit the caller's car with his fist as he crossed the street.
12:36am - Shots Fired. 24XX N Lawndale. Short male Hispanic with a black hoodie was just shooting at a white Sedan with a light on its side. He was last seen heading towards Ridgeway in the north alley of Fullerton.
12:40am - A slow down is being given on Lawndale.
12:42am - Beat 2554 is saying that windshields on a few cars are broken out on the 2400 block of N Monticello. Probably related to the shots fired on Lawndale.

1:01am - A slow down is being given at Monticello/Wabansia.
1:06am - 1) Assault in progress. Armitage and Avers. Group of males chased the caller, they're hiding under some stairs. 2) Beat car 2523Robert has a traffic stop in the north alley of Wabansia just off of Monticello.
1:07am - Person w/ a gun. Lawndale and Armitage. Caller and their friend had a gun pulled on them.
1:12am - I'm going to go for the day. I'll be back tomorrow. Have a great day, everyone!

Why does it always seem its minorities doing all the crime nonsense today?
The majority of suspects seem to be M 1's. Is that some sort of code or something?
Many of the officers assigned to 025 are slackers.
Big Al, that's CPD's code for male Black.
