Good evening, everyone. Sorry to be posting this late, but there was a homicide on the 2800 block of North Talman on Friday night at about 9:20pm. According to the Chicago Tribune, a man named Jeffrey Anderson, who was 29 years old and lived on the block, was killed. Anderson was allegedly standing on the block, which can be assumed by his home, when two males approached him on foot and one of them opened fire. Anderson fled from the two males back into his home, but collapsed and died a short time later. He was pronounced dead at the scene and Chicago Police are investigating.

As a side note, I am not able to get the archived 911 tapes for this time period because Zone 3 had a nasty inference on RadioReference that evening from what I'm listening to thus far, but I'll keep at it.

Its all the guns! Something should be done to end the gun fetish in America. Complete bans are needed.
Why can't we as Americans give up the gun fetish? Can't folks here just give up on guns and the violence which occurs with them?
