Employer Assaults Employee On Addison

Good morning, everyone, it's 11:45am. It's a pretty cloudy day out there, and will remain this way until tomorrow. Yes, I'm monitoring 17 today for those of you who live North of Belmont. I'll also monitor 17 tomorrow morning, before 11:45. I don't have much to say, so here's crime for today.

4:04pm - Check the well being. Addison and Central Park. Caller, who's in a dark red Ford Explorer, was supposed to be dropped off at the Blue Line station by their employer, but the employer isn't letting them out and is assaulting them.

4:22pm - They keep calling.

4:34pm - Beat car 1731 has a street stop at this same intersection

4:41pm - Check the well being. 3400 N Kimball. Kids playing on the bridge(?).

6:25pm - Traffic accident. Belmont and Drake.

6:33pm - Battery. Kimball and Belmont. Group of male Blacks and Hispanics were fighting. The male Blacks were in a 1999 Sedan, that fled towards the Kennedy on Kimball.

6:43pm - Robbery. Melrose and Kimball. Looks like it's related to the 6:33pm job.

7:04pm - Traffic accident. Addison and Sacramento. Two cars, in the parking lot of Target.

7:27pm - Vice complaint. 32XX N Albany. 15 gangbangers in front, drinking.

7:45pm - I have to go eat. I'll be back.

8:00pm - I'm back. Good evening, everyone.

8:33pm - Disturbance. 32XX N Albany. Group of males drinking on the public way and throwing bottles.

8:45pm - The 8:33pm job is coded a 5Adam.

11:24pm - Barking dog. 32XX N Lawndale.

12:00am - I'm gone for the night. I'll be back tomorrow. Have a good night, everyone.

I have been doing some taping of the various "street walkers" on North Ave. There seems to be 3-5 regulars who are out between midnight-4am. I brought this up at the last CAPS meeting but they said I have no proof. Well now I have proof.

Ghicago's cops the best? You're kidding, right?

I work graveyard shifts. Just because were walking at that time doesn't mean were "street walkers."

The cops let those girls work there. There's no point in arresting them since once in court the judge throws the case out.

If u work the graveyard shift then u should b at ur place of work then walking the streets!...

Anonymous 3:10. But do you wear high heels, garner belt and blow kisses as men drive by at 3AM? This prostitution
is not a victimless crime as it brings drugs, "johns", used condoms to the neighbor-
hood.

F'ing losers who leave dumb comments and have nothing else to do but screw around with comments on the blog. The blog is about the community and crime in our neighborhood, not a couple of idiots saying stupid shit for comments! Sorry Timmy but some of these idiots on here make we want to turn away from reading your blog or trying to leave a proper comment! Because what you see is senseless losers ruining it with dumb stuff to write!

Bobbo, I wouldn't say they're the best, but they're definitely good.

Anonymous 9:07, good job, and keep up the good work! I would do the same thing if I were told that. Hopefully your proof can lead up to some arrests.

Anonymous 4:38, I agree with you that prostitution does that.

Chaz, that's what you think. You must not want to be protected against all the STDs out there. Eh, oh well. Your choice.

Anonymous 9:31, I really agree with you. Yes, this blog is about the community and the crime occuring in it. However, and unfortunately, I do have to publish most comments so I'm not violating anyone's 1st amendment right. As always, I'll continue to monitor comments very closely, and I hope the few idiots here don't make you turn away.

Thank you Timmy for acknowledging the 1st Amendment. Freedom of speech is what makes this country great. I agree some comments are "off the wall" but as long as they are not violent or racist it's okay.
