Why bother going to 2523's beat meeting, they don't do anything about problems on the beat. The drunks and homeless, along with the gangbangers are out of control. And the police don't do anything.

Why bother, you ask? I say bother coming because at least other residents will know about your concerns/issues, so even if CPD doesn't address it, maybe they can. And, the cops on Beat 2523 don't do anything? Sorry, but I find that hard to believe. The problem with the drunks and homeless has been largely cleaned up in the last few months. There's not nearly as much of them as there was, say, this time last year. And, about the gangbangers, there's nothing really they can do about them because of these stupid ACLU laws protecting the gangbangers. The only way they can really do something these days is if someone leaves their name and is willing to sign complaints.

Well the police did little to nothing about the drunks, they migth be saying that they stopped the drunks but no its the weather that stopped them. There out and about all summer but when it gets cold they keep quiet in the vacant homes which we have a good amount, there still getting drunk and doing ruckus but inside and dont get me started with the gang/drug problem we have.

The beat car (2523) can't do anything. You see that one guy on the car on afternoons can't even walk. He limps about. How about putting him behind a desk instead of the street?
