Time Change

Good morning, everyone, it's 12:00am. Today is November 1. This means many things. For starters, we change our clocks back to one hour, meaning at 2am, it'll be 1am again. Second, this year I celebrate one year of blogging (November 23rd is the official date). I currently have 470 posts, from both this blog and the Windy Citizen blog I was on over the summer. Third, Halloween is over :). It looks like most of us got through it ok. Lastly, the holidays start (Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.). Anyway, I'm monitoring until 2pm today, so here is crime for this morning and early afternoon.

12:05am - Loud music disturbance. 2022 N Kedvale.

12:20am - Gang disturbance. 2312 N Springfield. Group loitering, smoking, etc.

12:30am - I'm heading to bed. Good night, everyone.

7:18am - Good morning, everybody :). It's a bit cold but it's refreshing to see the blue skies.

7:42am - Battery vitcim. 1747 N Pulaski. At the fire house. Sounds like a male was fighting someone and now he may be injured.

7:58am - The 7:42am job is bona fide. A Chicago Fire Department employee is the vitcim.

8:09am - Domestic disturbance. 4050 W Armitage. Complainant says that the husband is throwing stuff in the house. He's high on crack. He was just released from prison and he's known to carry a gun.

9:04am - Gang disturbance. Springfield and Wabansia. There's a group out there.

9:06am - Beat car 2533 is reporting a male Hispanic with some black clothing. Running north on Springfield from Wabansia.

9:07am - Jumping the fence at 1821 N Springfield.

9:11am - Unit needed at Cortland and Springfield for 2535.

9:12am - A woman just took off from Beat car 2535, screaming and crying.

9:19am - Ambulance needed at 1840 N Springfield for an injured female who is a vitcim of Battery.

9:58am - Beat car 2521 has a stop at 3128 N Hamlin.

10:19am - Beat car 2523 has a handwaver at 3086 Haussen Court.

10:21am - A car was stolen from the 10:19am handwaver. It occurred anywhere from 10:30pm last night to 9am this morning. It's a 1993 Jeep Cherokee with plates of A142563.

10:32am - An RD number is pulled from the 10:21am caper. It's HR620097 with the event number of 078XX.

11:39am - Traffic accident. Pulaski and Wabansia. Also, there's a parker at 4044 W Nelson.

11:51am - Disturbance. 2020 N Hamlin. Problem with the tenant.

12:00pm - Reckless/DUI driver. Diversey and Cicero. Male in a brown Crown Vic Ford heading east (possibly into the coverage area, which is why I put this down) on Diversey with a beer can in his hand. There's also a 4 or 5 yr old kid in the car who is not in a car seat. The car has a plate of 9470817.

12:41pm - Beat car 1512 is in a high speed chase. Heading north on Austin from Roosevelt.

12:42pm - Getting on the 290 Expressway. Heading into Oak Park. Chase is being terminated.

1:10pm - Disturbance. 3167 N Milwaukee. At Burger King. Female fell and now is causing problems.

1:22pm - Gang disturbance. Lowell and Altgeld. They're in the school parking lot in a grey van, possibly up to no good.

1:26pm - Sometime in the 12pm hour, a backlog was put in. Now it's being taken out at 13:26 (1:26pm) hours.
