Happy Thanksgiving 2009

Good morning, everyone, it's 12:54am. Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I certainly hope you are able to enjoy this holiday as much as I do. Anyway, I'll be at home all day today. But we have visitors coming over, so my coverage may not last all day, of course. Just letting you know that. Here is crime for today.

1:36am - Disturbance. 4450 W Parker. Loud party. With that, I'm gone for the night. Good night.

10:17am - I'm back. Good morning.

11:32am - Parker. 4100 W Dickens. Premit.

11:34am - Disturbance. 3108 N Central Park. Elderly male walking in the middle of the street with his stick, holding up traffic.

11:39am - Theft. Fullerton and Pulaski. Male Hispanic, yellow jacket and hat, just stole some stuff from the CVS. He went towards Altgeld on Pulaski.

11:42am - Suspicious person. 2613 N Ridgeway. Male Hispanic, 5'7, blue jeans, black coat just tried to enter the building.

11:48am - The 11:42am offender is in custody at 2443 N Ridgeway.

11:58am - Fire. 3710 W Dickens. Sounds like a stove's on fire. Maybe the turkey was overcooked? Just kidding :).

12:07pm - Beat 2543 is relocating the 11:42am offender to 1415 W Diversey.

12:11pm - Domestic Battery. 3604 W Diversey. 23 yr old sister keeps hitting the caller.

12:29pm - Burglar alarm. 1935 N Pulaski.

2:10pm - There's some kind of job at 3900 W Palmer.

3:32pm - Theft in progress. 4400 W Diversey. People in two cars are taking donations from the store.

4:00pm hour - I didn't pay attention. Sorry.

5:48pm - Narcotics. 3701 W Diversey. Five people have came in the last 5 minutes to get some drugs.

6:10pm - Violation order of protection. 3944 W Cortland. Woman hollering in the background. Bunch of other drama going on too. Police were already out here once.

7:09pm - EMS run. 3086 N Milwaukee. Male came into the business with a bloody head. They're not sure what happened to him.

7:10pm - Person down. Wellington and Harding.

7:22pm - Parker. 3900 block of W Belden. Premits.

7:27pm - Battery in progress. Dickens and Lawndale. Two calls for a group fight.

7:28pm - A Battery call is also coming in at Dickens and Lawndale.

7:29pm - Beat 2554 is on scene of the 7:27pm job. It's a possible robbery.

7:30pm - Check the well being. 4408 W Barry. The brother hasn't gotten the mail from the mailbox.

7:31pm - Gang disturbance. 2700 N Lawndale.

7:35pm - Person shot. Armitage and Pulaski. Female by the gas station.

7:37pm - They're asking for a call back on the 7:35pm job.

7:39pm - Beat car 2535 is offering a code on the 7:35pm job for now. Nothing is seen. Vitcim may be at a hospital. Caller said they heard two shots and seen a female get shot.

7:45pm - Battery. 3739 W Dickens. Brother and sister were jumped by gangbangers. This is probably related to the group fight called in down the street about 15 minutes ago.

7:48pm - Possibly wanted from the 7:35pm is a full sized red Bronco with two male Blacks in it.

7:50pm - Check the well being. 4120 W Wellington. Caller is worried about the elderly couple in their 80s. They haven't answered the phone today.

7:53pm - The 7:45pm job is coded 19P for now. No answer on an attempted call back.

7:56pm - Parker. 2106 N Springfield. Nissan blocking the driveway.

8:07pm - The 7:35pm job is coded 19Boy for now.

8:10pm - They're calling back on the 7:45pm job.

8:17pm - The 7:30pm job is a bona fide DOA. RD number for this job is HR662395.

8:33pm - Check the well being. Palmer and Pulaski. Female Hispanic with a ponytail just ran out of the bank and jumped into a car fleeing towards Fullerton on Pulaski.

9:42pm - Beat car 2525 has a stop at 2430 N Central Park.

10:55pm - Gang disturbance. 3833 W Palmer. Two of them in a vehicle screaming out slogans.

11:35pm to 12:00am - I wasn't paying attention. Sorry.
