Good afternoon, everyone, it's 3:45pm. Today was a good day. I went on the field trip to the Medill School of Journalism, which was informative and fun. Anyway, I'm going to monitor 25 until 4:15pm, then I'll take a short nap until 4:50, then again until dinner. At 8pm, I'm going to start monitoring 17 until midnight. So, here's crime for this afternoon and evening.
3:45pm - 1) Disturbance. 4400 W Diversey. 2) Municipal ordinance violation. 3725 W Diversey.
3:46pm - 1) Parkers. On 2523's Beat. 2) Parker. On 2524's Beat.
4:08pm - Beat car 2535 is doing a follow-up at 3850 W Cortland from yesterday.
4:18pm - I'm laying down for my nap.
6:12pm - I'm finally back from the nap. Sorry about that.
6:28pm - Domestic disturbance. 3745 W Fullerton. Problem with the husband. He's been drinking all day.
6:30pm - Sounds like the street lights are out in the 4000 block of W Nelson per 2520.
6:36pm - Parker. 2326 N Kedvale. Premits.
6:53pm - Gang disturbance. 1700 block of N Hamlin. Six of them representing.
7:29pm - Shots Fired. Wrightwood and Kilbourn. Males in a white van pulled up to the complainant's car and fired some shots. Caller does not want to make a report and is anonymous.
7:34pm - The squad roll, Beat 2573, is needed for a transport at Shakespeare and Lawndale.
7:58pm - Domestic disturbance. Diversey and Lawndale. Stepfather is threatening the caller.
8:00pm - I'm finished monitoring 25 until tomorrow night, after dinner. I'm now monitoring 17 until midnight.
9:57pm - A unit has a stop at Kedzie and School. Running a plate.
10:47pm - Criminal damage in progress. 3500 W Belmont. Two males with a tire iron, hitting a black vehicle.
11:18pm - Beat car 1732 has a bona fide Burglary at 3225 N Central Park. They're doing canvass and ordering up the ET. RD number is HR642056 with the event number of 18691.
11:21pm - Vice complaint. 3460 W Belmont.
11:54pm - Disturbance. 3403 N Pulaski. Bum sleeping in the hallway.
12:00am - I'm done with 17 until December. Good night, everyone. I'll be back with 25 after dinner tomorrow.
