Good morning, everyone, it's 7:55am. It's a sunny morning with temps in the mid teens, and today will be sunny with temps in the lower 30s. Typical mid-February, I guess. Today, I'm monitoring 25 from now until 12:21pm, then again from after 8:16pm until a little after midnight. I plan on monitoring 14 tomorrow from 8am to 11:22am. 10:10pm - Person w/ a knife. 36XX W Armitage. Male Black with a black jacket, orange shirt, black pants and orange gum shoes has a big knife. He's in front.

So if a rape offender is not on the scene yet running down the block, chicago police, do not come out???!! What does the victim do get a report over the phone??!! My God, this city is going downhill.

Their manpower is down. If there's no offender on scene you can make the report over the phone. Most reports are just for insurance purposes only. (Burglaries, thefts.)

That doesnt make much sense, Chicago has the largest police force in America, and weren't all those police officers doing desk work just reassigned to patrol? It seems alittle too easy to get away with a crime, more cops doesn't equate to better police work...

Chicago's police force has shrunk down. They're about 4000 short. Actually, New York's force is much larger.
