Open Hydrant On Ridgeway, Male Climbing In Window On Barry

Good morning, everyone, it's 9:40am. It's a pretty cold morning with temps in the mid 40s, but with sunshine. Today's supposed to be rainy with temps near 60. A good way to ring in the first day of autumn, that's for sure. Yep, summer is officially over now. I'm monitoring 25 from now until my dinner, then tomorrow for 8am until this time, then again all evening after my dinner. This is introducing all of you to my new "weird" weekend schedule. For you long-time readers, you know that I used to monitor after my dinner on Saturdays and before dinner on Sundays, but starting this year, I'm doing it the reserved way, since I'm a college student now. We'll see how it goes. Here's crime for today.

9:43am - Beat car 2523 has an open hydrant at 28XX N Ridgeway. Doesn't look like it's been forced open or anything, though, so it might be leaking.

Heard they have a list at the 25th district desk for off-duty cops to work side jobs. We could go there and see if we could get one to walk our beat (2523) during the problem times.

You could try and see if they can do that, I guess. It doesn't hurt to see what they can offer.
