Good morning, everyone, it's 9:44am. It's a mostly sunny morning with temps in the lower 60s. Today's going to get into the lower 70s with sunshine. Monitoring 25 today from now until 12:26pm, then again from 4:20 to 5:40. Finally, I'm monitoring 14 during the 11pm hour. We'll see how this all goes. I'll completely finish my monitoring of 14 on Tuesday. Here's crime for portions of today.
10:05am - Criminal damage report. 27XX N Kilbourn. Neighbor's dog killed the caller's chicken.
10:23am - Traffic accident. 44XX W Barry. Injures.
10:35am - DOA. 17XX N Monticello.
10:49am - Traffic accident. Wrightwood and Pulaski.
10:52am - Assault. 3607 W Fullerton. At the Tony's. Two males tried to run the caller over.
11:15am - Beat 2546 is saying that the DOA is bona fide. He's headed into 25 to do the report. Beat 2550 is notified.
11:38am - Traffic accident. 19XX N Monticello.
12:11pm - Beat 2593 is pulling an RD number from the 11:38am job. It's HV468192 with the event number of 0748X.

11:42pm - Person calling for help. 2600 block of N Francisco. Woman screaming up and down the block for help.
11:43pm - Disturbance. St. Louis and Armitage. Female causing a problem out there.
11:46pm - Loud music disturbance. 31XX W Wabansia.
11:50pm - Burglar alarm. 27XX W George.

The city cops are fighting a losing battle. Perhaps we should let the Cook county sheriffs take over? Perhaps security in our city could be privatized? The city could save lots of money by privatizing most of their city services.

Mary - read up on the privatization of parking and roadways in Chicago. It costs more and the only people who lose are the city residents and citizens. (that means you lose Mary). Let this sink in......think about it. Do your research please.
