REMINDER: CAPS Beat 1433 Meeting TONIGHT

Good morning, everyone. Just a friendly reminder that the CAPS Beat 1433 meeting is tonight, beginning at 6:30pm. It will be held at St. Mary Of The Angel's Church at 1850 N Hermitage. For those of you unfamiliar with the area, it covers areas such as the Clybourn METRA Station area and the Walsh Park area. The official boundaries for the Beat are Armitage to the north, Wood to the west, North Ave. to the south and the Chicago River to the south.

For those of you who live on this Beat, please attend your CAPS meeting tonight. I know it's the day before Thanksgiving, but if you want to address anything with the city or CPD about crime in your area, this is your chance. It only takes an hour, and this is your last CAPS meeting for the year 2011.

Thank you,
Timmy

With all the shortages in the police dept. rumor has it that CAPS is dead. No more silly meetings about area nonsense.

Anonymous 7:59, thank you. I appreciate your comment.

Chaz, that's only a rumor. CAPS certainly insn't what it used to be, but it's not dead either.

bobbo, nope. My Beat is 2523. And also, I no longer go to Beat meetings besides mine unless I have at least three requests from the residents of each Beat.
