Good morning, everyone, it's 12am. It's still cold out there. In the 30s. It'll be in the upper 20s overnight and then warm up into the 40s, I think. It's going to be windy and sunny. Anyway, I'm monitoring 25 from now until the first call for the day, then I'm going to monitor 17 starting at 8am. On Saturday, I'm going to cover 25 from when I wake up until my dinner. I will not blog on Sunday. With that, here's crime for today.
12:03am - Robbery report. 39XX W Wrightwood. Caller was jumped on and robbed about a half hour ago.
12:05am - Beat car 2524Robert is asking for a call back.
12:07am - I'm going to go. I'll be back with 17 in the morning. Good night, everyone.
8:00am - I'm back. Good morning, everyone.
1:14pm - Burglar alarm. 34XX N Albany.
1:17pm - Beat car 1732 has an open door. 1724 is going to assist her.
2:11pm - 1732 is giving a description of a male offender who just stole merchandise from the CVS at 3411 W Addison. He's a male Hispanic, 35-55 years old, black puffy coat and blue jeans on a bike.
2:27pm - Burglar report. On 1733's Beat.
2:50pm - Check the well being. Elston and Albany. Brown blanket is laying in the middle of the street, by the sidewalk. It is believed that there is a person underneath it.
3:09pm - Beat 1730 is giving 1731 a disregard on the 2:50pm job. No human in the blanket.
4:42pm - Assault. 38XX W Addison. Caller was threatened by the neighbor.
5:36pm - Burglar report. 33XX N Central Park.
6:10pm - The 5:36pm job is bona fide. 1730 is notified.
6:54pm - I have to go eat. I'll be back soon.
7:24pm - I'm back.
7:37pm - Vice complaint. 29XX W Belmont.
8:50pm - Disturbance. Kimball and Avondale. Three Hispanic females drinking on the corner. Thanks to ProdigalOne for obtaining this call for me.
11:13pm - Burglar alarm. 3256 N Milwaukee.
11:50pm - Disturbance. 3135 W Addison. In the parking lot of Little Ceaser's. Problem with the tow truck driver.

Even the thugs need X-mas money. So that's why crime goes up. They know during holiday time folks got money. Those polski folks carry their whole cashed check on them.
I've noticed in increase in the bums on the blue line and in the subway stations. Why do they bother with CHicago winters? I'm thinking one-way Grehyhound bus tickets to Flordia would be cheaper for the city in the long run. I'm not trying to be mean but thinking of the problem in realistic way.
