Man Having A Seizure @ Belmont And Milwaukee

Good morning, everyone, it's 7am. It's a mostly cloudy day with some peaks of sun. It's in the mid 40s right now, and will get into the mid 60s today, with wind. Anyway, I only have three days of school this week :), so I'll be off on Thursday and Friday. I'm going to monitor 14 on Thursday, and on Friday, I might take a day off from this blog to do some blogging on my other blog. We'll see, though. Also, the clocks have been turned back one hour, and we all know what that means. It's going to get dark around 5pm now. Lastly, I'm monitoring today from now until my dinner. Here's crime for today.

8:21am - Beat car 2523 has an emergency. Ambulance needed at Belmont and Milwaukee for a man having a seizure. EMS en route.

9:10am - Parker. 3100 block of N Springfield. Illegal parkers and permits.

12:08pm - Burglar alarm. 28XX N Springfield.

12:57pm - 1) Criminal trespass in progress. 2800 block of N Hamlin. Male Hispanic went through the window of a boarded up building on the left side of the street. 2) Parker. On 2524's Beat.

2:09pm - Suspicious vehicle. 3810 W North Ave. Four guys in a brown Jeep trying to open the door to the vacant laundromat.

2:55pm - Beat car 2523 needs another car at Armitage and Hamlin. Four on the hood. 2533 is going.

6:04pm - I have to go eat, and with that, I'm gone for the night. See you all tomorrow, and have a good night.

The man who had the seizure at that intersection was probably an alcoholic who didn't have his usual booze. he was in withdrawal.

Why are EMS issues police matters? Let fire do their job, and ythe cops do theirs....

Timmy, do you think that maybe Chicago can generate revenue by bringing in a good sized amusement park. A Great America or Sea World here would be just the ticket. We don't need a casino.

Anonymous, and Chaz, I can agree to both statements.

Anonymous 4:54, perhaps, but where in the world would we put it in this city?

An Amusement park? Why? We have the "keystone" cops to watch all day or night long. The local police are just clowns in our ricus of a city..
