Shots Fired @ Diversey and Mozart, Man Arrested

This is the first I've ever heard of someone actually being caught for firing gunshots in the area, and this is considering I've been blogging for just about two years now. According to Chicago Breaking News, a man named Jacob Vega apparently fired gunshots from his car window at 3:30 this morning at Diversey and Mozart. A detective from Area 5, who was in the area, heard the shots, then saw a 4 door Sedan driving the wrong way on a one way street with its headlights off. As the car continued driving, it ran several stop signs and Vega at one point dropped a large silver handgun from the driver's side window. The vehicle was eventually stopped within the 2900 block of George, and Vega was arrested.

I'd just like to say that the Chicago Police did a great job with this incident! And, if anyone's got any insight to this, please share.

Thanks,
Timmy

Why don't you area residents do something about all the section 8 taking over Logan square?

What does Section 8 have to do with anything in this particular post? And, do you have any suggestions for us? Personally, I'm not sure what we can do, but I'd like some suggestions.

Most section 8 folks are just mindless ghetto savages, nothing more...

the people receiving section 8 benefits are not the only beneficiaries of this program; in fact, this program's biggest supporters are those in the rental real estate business.

those engaged in doing section 8 rental real estate business, and those profiting from same, include:

1. real estate rental investment corporations, both foreign owned and domestic owned.

2. anyone investing in the above corporate businesses, as in:

a) individual investors in mutual funds
b) financial institution portfolio holdings
c) limited partnership investment companies
d) limited liability corporate entities
e) pension fund investments
f) organized crime money laundering cover corporations

3. real estate brokerage businesses, via commissions received from the brisk sales of section 8 viable real estate.

4. lending institutions, via the sales of foreclosed real properties being snatched up, at bargain basement prices, solely intended as section 8 income investments.

the section 8 program is, by default and effect, a classic example of communistic economics in action.

'from those according to their ability, to those according to their need'

the 'needy' get without working, the working pay, and the facilitators profit handsomely.

classic communistic hocus pocus.
