Intoxicated Man Refuses To Leave Red Apple

Good evening, everyone, it's 6:44pm. Today was a pretty good day. I like my new schedule that I was given. I just wish there wasn't so many fights today. Anyway, I'm hearing about a big snowstorm that's due for Wednesday. We're supposed to get at least a foot of snow. Wow. That's alot. But let's not worry about that until tomorrow :). So, here's crime for tonight.

7:15pm - Disturbance. 3121 N Milwaukee. At Red Apple. Intoxicated male refuses to leave Red Apple.

7:34pm - Parker. On 2523's Beat.

7:49pm - Information for the police. Mozart Park. Missing 15 yr old is in the park.

7:51pm - Parker. On 2523's Beat.

7:56pm - Nobody is matching the description on the 7:49pm job. Description is green hoodie and blue pants.

7:58pm - Dispatch got ahold of the mother on the 7:56pm job, who said she's not going to retrieve her daughter. She only got a text message about this. Some mother this lady is. I would go in a heartbeat to get my kid.

8:00pm - I have to go. Good night, everyone, and I'll be back tomorrow.

I forgot to mention this, but my school bus was assaulted at Central Park and Barry. A group of punks thought it would be funny to through snowballs at the bus as we drove by. I have no idea why it happened and I wished I had my cell phone still. I would've called the police. So, to readers, be careful over there. If they throw snowballs at school buses, they can certainly do the same to passing citizens.

You think this is funny, anonymous? I for one do not find it funny whatsoever. When they go throwing snowballs at a school bus with disabled kids on it, that's what really pisses me off and yes, I do think it's a crime. So what?

FYI, people DO call the police about snowball throwing. I threw some last year on my block (having fun with a friend of mine) and I was called on. They didn't do a report on me or anything, but they said not to throw any when people are passing by or at windows. And I've heard a few calls regarding snowball throwing today.

Yes, snowballs are assault these days, if you're throwing them at people for no reason and they're just walking/driving by. If it's with your friends and you're careful, fine, do all of the throwing you want. Just don't hit any passerby because some will consider it a crime and call the police.

The people who threw this are gangbangers. How do I know this? They all had on their stupid black hoodies and they flashed a sign at a car in front of us.

Since you say the police have better things to do than to respond to a disturbance (that's what it's considered by CPD), tell me, what would've you done in my situation? On a bus with three other handicapped kids? And I'm not supposed to call 911? Gee, maybe I won't ever call 911 again for anything. After all, you can't call on crimes around here because people get mad. This is one of the reasons why I'm starting to get sick of Avondale.

I wish the cops would've laughed if they responded. I would've been making phone calls to their supervisor, commander, you name it because this is dealing with disabled people and it's nothing funny or short of it.

The way you laugh about this, you make me think that you're one of the punks who threw the snowballs. I certainly hope I'm wrong.
