Good morning, everyone, it's 10:42am. I monitored this morning from 4:03-5am like I said I would, but nothing occurred. Anyway, just two more days until Christmas :). I can't wait. Also, I'm monitoring until 1:49pm. Nothing else to say on my end, so here's crime for this late morning and early afternoon.
11:33am - Person down. 3644 W George. Intoxicated male.
11:58am - Beat car 2523 tells Dispatch that the light at 3700 W Diversey has sparks shooting out of it everytime the wind blows. The city is notified.
1:19pm - Traffic accident. 3601 W Fullerton.
1:34pm - Backlog in 25 at 13:34 hours.
1:49pm - I'm gone for today. Have a good one, everyone, and I'll be back tomorrow :).

A 32-year-old man was killed Tuesday when an automobile struck him in Avondale as he rode his bike. Police say the cyclist got caught in an altercation between two motorists, and the Cook County Medical Examiner's office ruled the man's death a homicide
I'm aware of Tuesday's incident, anonymous. It was sad hearing about it. I hope the guys who did this are brought to justice.
