Good afternoon, everyone, it's 12:30pm. We're another day closer to a new year, aren't we? New Year's Eve is tomorrow :). That's a good thing if you ask me. I'm ready for 2010 to come. Anyway, I'm monitoring 25 all day. Sorry not starting earlier. I had a couple of other things I needed to get out of the way. I'll be sure to tomorrow. Here's crime for this afternoon and evening.
12:34pm - Traffic accident. Milwaukee and Haussen. Two cars, no injuries.
12:35pm - Disturbance. 3713 W Shakespeare. Three male teens attempting to kick a door.
12:45pm - Battery in progress. 2900 N Avers. Domestic related. Caller's getting attacked by the girlfriend. There was a call here an hour ago.
12:54pm - An RD number was pulled from the 12:34pm job. I missed it, though.
12:56pm - A slow down has been given for 2900 Avers per 2525. He's got the vitcim. The offender's in the back of the squad car.
1:24pm - They're callng back on the 12:45pm job.
2:47pm - Backlog in 25 at 14:47 hours. This is shift change time, after all.
2:55pm - Burglar report. 2815 N Springfield.
4:02pm - Info for the police. Fullerton and Pulaski. Caller's husband was being shot at by gangbangers in a white van who was chasing him.
4:19pm - Shots Fired. Dickens and Pulaski. From a white Nissan.
4:31pm - The 4:19pm job is coded 19Boy. No answer on several call backs attempted by Dispatch.
4:34pm - Dispatch actually got an answer on another attempted call back for the 4:19pm job. The person's somewhere else than other from where they said they were.
4:43pm - Disturbance. 3751 W Armitage. Dispute over a stolen cell phone.
4:44pm - Attempted suicide. 4045 W Nelson. 15 yr old drank some eye drops. EMS en route.
4:58pm - Battery. 3945 W Diversey. Gangbanging neighbor just hit the caller.
6:02pm - EMS run. 3050 N Hamlin. Male down in the alley.
6:07pm - Assault. 2124 N Hamlin. Several neighbors threatened the caller.
6:09pm - Domestic disturbance. 2133 N Springfield. Problem with the wife.
7:12pm - Disturbance. 3121 N Haussen. Intoxicated male sleeping on the 3rd floor.
8:41pm - I have to go eat. I'll be back :).
9:00pm - I'm back.
9:40pm - Info for the police. 3601 W Wolfram.
10:44pm - Some job at about 1918 N Ridgeway.
10:49pm - Domestic disturbance. 2505 N Lowell. Brother's fighting the family.
11:05 to about 11:14pm - Police/Dispatch chatter regarding the 10:44pm job.
