Another shots fired at Ridgeway & Altgeld, just about 15 minutes ago (10:35 PM).

Anonymous, can you tell me how many shots were fired? And possibly what kind of investigation the police did? Was anybody hurt in this (if you know)?

Sorry for the delay in response. If I recall correctly, there were two shots fired, sounded like they came from the direction of the Altgeld & Ridgeway intersection, possibly near the church.

Two squads rolled through about five minutes after, lights off, and there was a bit of commotion a block to the west of the intersection (near Hamlin) shortly thereafter - a couple siren squawks out of a squad and some shouting.

Unfortunately, that's all the info I've got on the incident.

That's ok. After reading this, this sounds like some sort of gang incident. I wouldn't be surprised if it was due to the shouting. I'm glad the police came rather quick, though.

That information alone is good enough for anybody to know what happened. And you probably know more about it than some of your neighbors, and you certainly know about it more than me.
