Good afternoon, everyone. The following is the archive from two shootings that took place last Wednesday, on the 22nd of January in the western part of Logan Square. Initially, I was only notified of a shooting that occurred around 7:15pm on the 2700 block of North Lawndale. Then, while listening to the archive for this shooting, a Sergeant mentioned that a double shooting had taken place just an hour prior to this one, only a few blocks away in 14. From the Lawndale shooting, I was told that the victims were Spanish Cobra gang members and that the shooters were Imperial Gangsters, thus making this shooting gang-related. I will archive both shootings, with the Lawndale shooting being first. .
7:17pm - Person Shot. 27XX N Lawndale. Brother was shot in the hand. No shots fired tickets have came over.
7:18pm - Beats 2520, 2530, 2561Frank, 2565, 2565Charlie, 2565David, 2599 (Watch Commander) and Beat car 2523 were all going over there.
7:19pm - 2530 is letting all the officers know that there was a double shooting an hour prior over at Fullerton and St. Louis (which I'll archive below this shooting).
7:21pm - Shots Fired. Ridgeway and Schubert.
7:22pm - 2561F says that a white van was involved, and fled west on Schubert to Ridgeway, then north on Ridgeway towards Diversey.
7:23pm - Two people were shot. Jesus....
7:28pm - 2520 says the crime scene is on the southwest corner of Schubert and Lawndale. Also, Beat car 2531 is now on scene, assisting in looking for a crime scene.
7:29pm - One victim was shot in the arm and the other one was shot in the shoulder. Beat 5340 is inquiring.
7:31pm - Two rounds went into a building at 37XX W Schubert.
7:35pm - An officer is saying that the offenders are IGs and the victims may be Cobras.
7:42pm - 2565C has a white Chevy Trailblazer stopped on Pulaski just north of Fullerton.
7:43pm - The Trailblazer is supposedly the victim's car. Also, 2520 is saying that a gray Grand Jeep Cherokee was involved. That's the offender's car.
7:47pm - Dispatch is reading some information from the shooting in 14. The victim's car was told. Their victim went to Norwegian. There are numerous bullet holes in the car, along with broken glass, and all four tires are flat. Car was towed to the aunt's house. ET was ordered.
7:58pm - Beat 2500, 25th District Commander, is doing a post-shooting mission on the 2700 block of N Lawndale. 2561F and Beat 2565Adam will be joining him.

As I predicted, the Cobras and IG's are going to have an all out war.
Mayor Daleys nephew just received a 60 day sentence for killing a man. Chicago justice is a complete joke.
It seems some of Tact units have been caught doing "strip searches" of suspects on the street. Top story on the news. We need to bring back Jody Weiss. He kept the police in line.
Igs are also responsible for the death of that Oa member in late December. This is going to be a crazy summer guys.
