Good morning, everyone, it's 10:10am. I'm monitoring 25 today from now until 2:30, then again from 6 to midnight. From 2:30 to 6 today, I'll be covering 14. I don't have my blogging schedule in front of me at the moment, but I believe I am blogging a combination of 14 and 17 tomorrow. On another note, since it's now September and past Labor Day, I'm going back to a pre-summer monitoring schedule. This means that while I will blog just about everyday (or at least try to), I will not be monitoring all day long each day. With the weather starting to change for the fall season, crime tends to fall a little in our community, as it gets colder. Though, as you all probably know, as it gets colder out, more interior crimes start happening (i.e. burglaries and domestics). Just wanted to let all of you know that. I don't have anything further to mention, so here's crime for today.
10:17am - Parker. On 2523's Beat.
11:28am - Burglar alarm. 3633 W Fullerton.
12:11pm - Parker. On 2524's Beat.
12:54pm - Disturbance. 28XX N Lowell. Problem with the neighbor.
2:05pm - EMS run. 28XX N Harding. Male down in front.
2:15pm - Battery in progress. 3633 W Fullerton. Two females fighting in front with bats.
2:30pm - I'm switching over to 14. Please standby....
2:38pm - Disturbance. Diversey and St. Louis. Chickens running in the street. ROTFL!
2:41pm - Beat 1461 is doing a post-shooting mission on 1411's and 1412's Beats. Event number is 10089.
2:47pm - Beat 1461Charlie was just involved in an accident at 27XX N Kimball. They're okay but two other cars are involved, EMS is needed. 1461 is headed over.
2:53pm - Beat car 1411 is being assigned to the paper on that accident.
3:26pm - Burglar alarm. 20XX W McLean.
4:07pm - Some call on Armitage.
5:54pm - Municipal ordinance violation. 18XX N Mozart.
6:00pm - I'm back with 25. Good night, everyone.
6:19pm - Battery in progress. Pulaski and Fullerton. Two males fighting in the rear of the Shell gas station.
6:26pm - A few calls are coming in on the 6:19pm job. There's a report that one of these guys has a knife, and another says someone has a fraud check over there.
6:42pm - Beat 2562Eddie is on a special attention at Kelvyn Park for a couple hours. Event number is 13664.
7:04pm - Panic alarm. 37XX W Concord.
7:05pm - 1) DUI driver. Pulaski/Fullerton. Small blue Ford has a female in it with a plate of R519811 who keeps swerving, headed east towards Harding on Springfield. 2) Narcotics. On 2525's Beat.
7:14pm - EMS run. Milwaukee and Davlin. Man down by the Burger King.
7:17pm - Beat 2563Boy is taking one in from a street stop at 3925 W Diversey.

10:06pm - Loud music disturbance. 40XX W Barry. In one of the backyards.
10:26pm - Assault in progress. 26XX N Ridgeway. Neighbors are arguing.

FYI: I heard from a real source that by 2015 Chicago will be the first US city to use drones in reducing violence. Yes, the same ones used in Iraq, Sudan, Syria ect..
