Good morning, everyone, it's 8:27am. I'm monitoring 14 this morning before I go to class, and then I plan on monitoring this afternoon after I get home. I'm supposed to go to Beat 1421's CAPS meeting this evening at 7, but I'm not entirely sure if I will be. If not, I will have to make up for it in January. I hope I don't get swamped with too much coursework or in my Student Government duties at school. With that, here's crime for portions of today.
8:30am - Beat 1484 is doing a premise check at Firemen Memorial Park. Event number is 02917.
8:55am - 1484 is now doing premise checks at the Logan Square Monument and at Prairie Garden park. Prairie is 03165 and Monument is 03166.
9:34am - Burglar alarm. 16XX N Bell.

Did you hear about all those deli shops robberies happening. (they hit one on Milwaukee)I guess they hit them because of the language problems. When store clerks can't speak English it's an easy mark.
Lester, I think displaying a loaded gun gets the point through in any language.
Uh Rick, I was referring to the communications problems the store clerks have with the police. Most of the police only speak "one" language.
