Good morning, everyone, it's 6:57am. It's a clear early morning with temps around 40, and today will be around 50 with sunshine. I'm monitoring 25 today until 12pm. Sorry for not finishing my monitoring on Halloween and not monitoring yesterday. Yesterday I was working on a paper for my English class and I will have the rest of the Halloween activity up here in a few days (I'll elaborate more on this in tomorrow's post). For those of you who live in 14 and in 17, would you mind commenting on the Halloween post, or even on this one, on how things went in your slice of the community? I'd like to hear how Halloween was in our area. Also, I'll have the post up for Beat meetings this month tomorrow. With that, here's crime for this morning.
7:44am - School crossing at 3800 W Armitage from 8:30 to 9.
7:46am - Traffic accident. Wrightwood and Pulaski. Two cars.
8:31am - Beat car 2523 has an on-view accident at 3181 N Milwaukee Ave., at the Shell gas station.
8:56am - Beat car 2524 is working on a recovery case at 25XX N Tripp.
9:05am - Beat car 2525 has a traffic stop at Avers and Armitage.
9:08am - Robbery. 1920 N Hamlin. At the Ames school. Two males tried to jump a 14 year old student and rob him.
9:40am - Person w/ a knife. 2200 N Hamlin. At the Mozart school. 11 year old student brought a knife to school.
9:49am - Parker. 21XX N Springfield. Car in the rear of the property that doesn't belong there.
10:15am - An RD number is being pulled from the Ames incident. It's HV544912 with the event number of 04337.
10:18am - Burglary report. On 2546's PDT.
10:24am - Reckless driver. Fullerton and Kostner. Heading east is a Nissan that's driving recklessly towards Lowell on Fullerton.
11:06am - Traffic accident. Lawndale and Fullerton. Probably that same car from the 10:24am job...
11:17am - Beat 2548 is saying that no one's at the 11:06am job.
11:21am - Beat 2575 needs a transport car at Kelvyn Park High School for an arrest. Beat 2575Sam is headed over.
11:47am - 2575S is taking one in from Kelvyn Park High School.
