Good morning, everyone, it's 8:57am. It's another cloudy day here in the Chi, with temps in the mid 40s. Today will remain cloudy with temps in the mid 50s. I'm monitoring 14 from now until 1:40pm, then again after 9:40 until midnight or so. I'll return with 25 tomorrow and Sunday. Here's crime for today.
9:15am - Theft. 20XX N Hoyne. Car window was broken out and the laptop was taken.
9:28am - Beat car 1434 is doing an "L" check at the Western Blue Line.
9:30am - Beat 1484 is patrolling on Milwaukee Avenue from Kedzie to Central Park. Event number is 04332.
9:42am - Assault report. 2235 N Hamilton. At the CICS Bucktown school.
9:44am - Parker. 32XX W Belden. Car is on the block in violation of street cleaning going on on that block today, it's been there for the last three weeks as well.
10:08am - Disturbance. 35XX W Armitage. Problem with the tenants who live on the 1st floor.
10:13am - An RD number is being pulled from the 9:42am job. It's HV525076 with the event number of 04427.
10:26am - Parker. 20XX W St. Paul. Something about a car parked there and cones, street cleaning.
10:36am - Car alarm. 31XX N St. Louis. Car in front has had its alarm go off for the last five hours.
10:44am - Traffic accident. Fullerton and Rockwell. Three cars, no injuries.
10:51am - Beat car 1432 is doing foot patrol on Millwaukee Ave. Event number is 05634.
10:54am - EMS run. 33XX W Armitage. Caller feels depressed, would like to go to the hospital.
10:55am - Parker. 3200 W Wellington. Green GMC parked in the construction zone.
11:24am - Burglary report. 26XX W Barry.
11:25am - Beat 1442 is doing a school visit somewhere.
11:31am - Parker. 16XX N Ada. Something about a blue Volvo in a tow zone.
11:34am - Parker. 26XX N Richmond. Semi truck parked on the residential since yesterday.
11:44am - 1) 1434 is doing a Community Concern at Churchill Field. 2) Barking dog. 18XX N Wilmot. Dog is barking at anyone passing by.
12:04pm - An RD number is being pulled from the 11:24am job. It's HV525237 with the event number of 06218.
12:23pm - Battery. 1839 N Richmond. In front of the Yates school. Daughter was jumped on, offender's gone.
12:31pm - Beat car 1421 is coding out the 12:23pm job as a 19P, although advises Dispatch that they may be calling for a supervisor soon.
12:41pm - And now 1421's complainant is calling for a supervisor. Bunch of drama between two teenage girls, parents are calling.
12:57pm - Reckless driver. Rockwell and Cortland.
1:00pm - Burglary. 35XX W Diversey. Caller came home to find their door ajar.
1:04pm - A slow down is being given on the 1pm job.
1:05pm - Person wanted. North and Western. Female Hispanic named Mayra, who has on a gray sweatshirt and gray pants, is wanted for something. She's on the corner.
1:22pm - Check the well being. Elston and Webster. Male Black, 11 years old, black hoodie and jeans is standing on the corner, begging for money.
1:29pm - Some job on Logan Boulevard.
1:40pm - I'm going to go until 9:40. I'll be back then. See you all later.
9:40pm - I'm back. Good evening, everyone.
9:42pm - Beat 1461Adam needs another car at Whipple and Wabansia. They've got a few guys stopped. Beat 1461Boy is coming over.
9:45pm - A slow down is being given on the 9:42pm assist. Everything's okay.
10:06pm - Some call on the 2300 block of W Logan Blvd. I think it was an alarm.
10:20pm to 10:40pm - I missed a couple of calls, but I know for sure there were at least two calls in the area. They weren't anything major, though.
10:44pm - Parker. 26XX W Diversey. Something about a chronic parking problem involving a blind person.
10:48pm - A unit has a street stop at 17XX N Talman.
11:06pm - Loud music disturbance. 16XX N Richmond.
11:09pm - Battery. Milwaukee and Atrill. Male was hit at a party.

Its good to see the police in 014 really care about the area they work. On the other hand, those police in 025 are pretty much useless. That's why I bought a condo in 014.
