Loud Music On Davlin, Fight At Diversey/Lawndale

Good morning, everyone, it's 12am. It's a cloudy evening with temps in the lower 50s. Today will remain in the 50s and cloudy. Anyway, I'm monitoring 25 from now until the first call or two after midnight, then again from 10:50am to 9:30pm. Tomorrow, I intend on covering 25 from 8am until 10:50, then again from 8:45pm to 10:38pm. We'll see how that goes. Here's crime for today. Oh, and Happy Cinco De Mayo for whoever celebrates it.

12:25am - Loud music disturbance. 30XX N Davlin.

12:35am - Battery in progress. Diversey and Lawndale. People fighting.

10:50am - I'm back. Good morning, folks.

12:18pm - Parker. On 2523's Beat.

2:21pm - Criminal damage. 2990 N Milwaukee. Someone busted out the caller's car window.

2:55pm - 1) Vice complaint. 23XX N Monticello. Two males on the porch with open liquor. 2) Parker. 23XX N Karlov. Commercial van on the residential.

3:22pm - Beat car 2525 is coding out their 2:55pm jobs.

4:31pm - Disturbance. 3924 W Diversey. Intoxicated woman in front of the Four Brothers Mexican restaurant, cussing everyone out.

5:19pm - Parker. 16XX N Avers.

5:27pm - Backlog in 25 at 17:27 hours.

5:38pm - 1) Suspicious person. 24XX N Hamlin. 2) Deceptive practice in progress. 1627 N Pulaski. At the Walgreens.

5:51pm - Battery in progress. 3055 N Milwaukee Ave. Males fighting with one on the ground, being beaten.

6:14pm - Residential alarm. 16XX N Lawndale.

6:39pm - Parker. On 2523's Beat.

6:54pm - Beat car 2523 is running a plate from the 6:39pm job. It's on the 2800 block of N Ridgeway.

6:57pm - 1) The vehicle from 2523's thing is stolen. 2) Suspicious vehicle. 36XX W Dickens. Male Hispanic in a gold Ford Focus has been out there for four hours now.

7:16pm - I have to go eat. I'll be back soon.

What happened/ Where were the cars honking horns and waving flags at? Didn't see any Mexican or Polish out celebrating their holiday.
