Good afternoon, everyone, it's 12:05pm. It's a beautiful sunny day with temps around 70. Couldn't have asked for better weather. Yep, I'm home early. Today was Senior Ditch Day at school, so I just ditched. I don't really hang out with anyone at school, so I just came home. I'm monitoring 17 for you North of Belmont residents from now until 4pm, then I'll return with 25 at 9pm until midnight. Here's crime for today.
2:01pm - Gang disturbance. Cornelia and Ridgeway. Three males on bikes flashing gang signs.
2:36pm - Disturbance w/ a mental. 3650 W School. At the Reily school. There's an 11 year old high risk female who's threatening to kill herself. CFD is rolling.
2:58pm - Gang disturbance. Central Park and Addison.
3:27pm - Traffic accident. Addison and Kimball. In the Home Depot parking lot.
4:00pm - I'm going to go until 9. I'll see you all then. Have a great afternoon, everyone.

Heard some gangbanger got invited to a good boot party over on Fullerton.
Most of these gangbangers are usually coppers kids. That's where they get the guns from. Perhaps the police should be required to store their weapon at work. How many cops actually help you when they're off-duty? So why do they need a gun? Maybe if they were more respectful, folks wouldn't hate them so much.
So, I've got to say, it's really not cool when you call someone a "mental"... People don't choose mental illness. It's like using an inappropriate word for someone of African descent, someone of homosexual orientation, or someone of female gender. It's not okay to belittle and ridicule someone for something they don't choose to be. But, gang bangers? Now they deserve ridicule. They CHOOSE to ruin lives and families and property values. Ridicule the criminals. Not the mentally ill.
