Good morning, everyone, it's 2:13am. It's a lclear night outside, with temps in the upper 50s or lower 60s. Pretty warm for an October night. Anyway, I'm monitoring 25 for now until I go to sleep (really no idea when that is, I'm not really tired), and then from when I wake up until my dinner. Also, yep, I know it's Monday, but the schools are closed today due to it being Columbus Day. So I have a three-day weekend :). With that, here's crime for today.
2:54am - Suspicious person. George and Kildare. Group of males running through the area, checking out stuff.
3:17am - Some call in the area, possibly on Diversey, I think.
3:39am - Loud music disturbance. 27XX N Harding. Drunk people blasting music, singing and partying in front.
4:46am - I'm going to go. I'll be back in the morning. Good night, everyone.
12:29pm - I'm back. Good afternoon, everyone.
12:32pm - Battery in progress. 43XX W Parker. Group of girls beating up the caller.
12:37pm - Multiple calls coming in on Parker. Someone's getting beaten up.
12:45 through 1:50pm - Wasn't paying attention. I'm sorry. I'll try to get an archive of this time period.
2:03pm - Check the well being. 36XX W Fullerton. Woman says a man keeps following her.
2:42pm - EMS run. Milwaukee and Monticello. Drunk male passed out.
3:38pm - EMS run. Diversey and Avers. Male laying on the ground, was possibly beaten up.
3:39pm - EMS run. 29XX N Hamlin. Elderly woman passed out. CPD is being requested for kids throwing rocks.
4:03pm - Disturbance. Wrightwood and Kildare. Group of teenagers playing football in the middle of the intersection.
4:06pm - Parker. 1800 N Harding.
4:07pm - Narcotics. 2121 N Keeler. At the Nixon school. Gangbangers smoking on the school grounds.
4:45pm to 6:30pm - I didn't pay attention. I'm sorry. I'll get this time period Wednesday.
6:35pm - Speed chase. Speed chase. Armitage and Central Park. Beat 2540 is chasing a car south on Central Park, towards Cortland.
6:36pm - Approaching Drake on Cortland. Black car involved.
6:37pm - Offender's in custody, at 1841 on Drake. Several units heading over.
6:40pm - Some call in the area.
6:43pm - I have to go eat, and with that, I'll be back tomorrow morning. Good night, everyone.

A drunk male passed out at 2:40pm? Don't these liquor store clerks go to BASSET training? It's a program on how to identify intoxicated patrons.
The liquor stores around here only want the drunkards money. They don't care how much he already drank, its sell, sell, and sell. Perhaps we could vote the area dry? You'll see cops in these stores for their free cigarettes, so they don't care.

Mary, most cops I know do not smoke/drink & are in good shape. I'm not sure why you have a vendetta against CPD. I suspect you have a family member who is a criminal and had run in with CPD.
What are you talking about? Haven't you seen the news these last few monthes? Drunken off-duty officers crashing their cars, getting in bar fights, etc.....Drunks with badges, nothing more...
That's because those pro-police blogs only allow pro-police messages. They don't want the truth about them or their actions brought into light.
