Good afternoon, everyone, it's 3:41pm. Today was an ok day at school. Anyway, it's TGIF (yay!). I'm happy for that. Also, on the way home, I've seen some rowdy behavior. After all, it's warm out and it's a Friday. We'll see what happens. Here's crime for this afternoon and evening.
3:35pm - Disturbance w/ a mental. 3919 W Fullerton. At the hotel. A male, apparently a high risk mental, was causing a scene and broke out a window. He fled southbound on Pulaski on CTA bus #2017.
3:36pm - Person down. Milwaukee and Haussen. 50 yr old male laying on the ground, bleeding.
3:43pm - There's a job at 4005 West Palmer.
3:48pm - Criminal damage. 4359 W Parker. Complainant's dog was ran over and killed.
3:54pm - Shots fired in front of the police. Madison and Central.
3:55pm - All units are being called to the now 10-1 situation at Madison and Central. Someone was shot in front of the police.
3:56pm - Beat 1530 is giving a disregard on Madison. They've got alot of units on scene.
3:57pm - All of this Madison and Central was as a result of a group fight at Parkside and Madison. Going back to coverage for this area.
4:06pm - Recover the stolen auto. On 2524's Beat.
4:08pm - The 3:36pm job is being coded.
4:13pm - 1) Disturbance. Diversey and Pulaski. Male White, brown hair, red sweater threw a beer bottle at some pedestrians. 2) Parker. 2847 N Hamlin. 3) Gang disturbance. Shakespeare and Central Park. Two groups on both sides on the street. A male in a green shirt has his hands in his pocket like he's got a gun.
4:16pm - Burglar alarm. 2035 N Avers.
4:21pm - The 3:36pm job is being called in an Assault in progress. Schubert and Konster.
4:23pm - Assault in progress. Wrightwood and Konster. Male on a bike threatening a female and some kids. Everyone was arguing.
4:29pm - 1) Disturbance. 2400 N Tripp. 2) Municipal ordinance violation. 2750 N Lawndale. 3) Narcotics. 3701 W Diversey. 4) Parker. 4352 W Wrightwood.
4:39pm - 1) Gang disturbance. Fullerton and Kildare. 2) Assault. 2980 N Milwaukee. 3) Information for the police. 3000 block of N Haussen. Something about females with blood on their shirt. With kids.
4:49pm - Criminal damage in progress. 3600 W Fullerton. 3 male and a female are tagging the buildings as they go along. Heading eastbound. Offenders are in their teens.
4:52pm - Foot chase. From the 4:49pm job. A male is running down the 2400 block block of N Central Park.
4:53pm - Offender is now running west on Altgeld from Monticello. Offender is Hispanic, 16-17 yrs old, red t-shirt, black shorts and a black backpack.
4:55pm - Offender is walking eastbound on Wrightwood, from Lawndale.
4:56pm - Running southbound in the T alley at Wrightwood and Lawndale. Officer that was in pursuit has a heart condition, according to a supervisor. EMS was declined though because the officer said he was fine.
4:57pm - Going back east. He's got a hand on his side. Then, about 30 seconds later, he's in custody.
5:31pm - Beat 2573 is taking in the runner from the foot pursuit. Also, 2523 is going in with three.
5:38pm - Domestic Battery. Harding and North. Female complainant was hit by the girlfriend.
5:54pm - I'm off for a nap until dinner. Then I'll eat and be back after dinner. See you all then.
7:29pm - I'm back.
7:56pm - Assault in progress. Kelyvn Park, 4438 W Wrightwood. Female with two dogs off the leash threatening the complainant. Guess what's being used to enforce the threat?
8:27pm - 1) Animal bite. 2959 N Hamlin. 2) Narcotics. 2815 N Harding. 3) Parker. 4164 W Wellington. 4) Alarm. 4000 W Wrightwood. 5) Information for the police. 3900 W Fullerton.
8:52pm - Person down. 3934 W Diversey. Male bleeding. In front of Walgreens.
8:53pm - 1) Assault. Milwaukee and Central Park. At the Cricket store? What? There's not a Cricket store there, right? Anyway, the complainant alleges that a gold Toyota chased them. 2) Gang disturbance. Milwaukee and Hamlin. Large group showing a presence.
9:01pm - The Milwaukee and Hamlin is coded 19Boy.
9:32pm - Gang disturbance. 3627 W Shakespeare.
9:51pm - Beat car 2523 is getting a gang disturbance and some disturbances on the Beat.
10:02pm - Domestic disturbance. 3613 W Armitage. Something about a grandchild.
10:06pm - Backlog in 25 at 22:06 hours.
10:19pm - 1) Violation order of protection. 2149 N Springfield. 5 yr old son was supposed to be dropped off at 9:30, but wasn't. Complainant can't go to the wife's house theirself because she's got a restraining order against them. 2) Loud music disturbance. 2437 N Ridgeway. 3) Vice complaint. 1633 N Hamlin.
11:02pm - Criminal damage. 4400 block of W Deming. Kids damaging cars.
11:28pm - Person shot. Dickens and Pulaski. Male vitcim laying in the street.
11:29pm - Witnesses are saying that the 11:28pm vitcim is actually a Battery vitcim.
11:38pm - Battery. 4411 W Diversey. Apparently, there was some kind of fight.
11:39pm - Battery report. 4236 W Wrightwood.
11:41pm - Loud music disturbance. 2019 and 2035 N Kedvale.
11:43pm - Domestic disturbance. 3652 W Wabansia. Dad's giving someone a problem.
11:44pm - The 11:28pm vitcim was transported to the hospital at 19th and Califorina. He's intoxicated.
11:55pm - Disturbance. 3900 W Belmont. Male sleeping in the ATM machine at the bank. Why did this job come over on 25's side? The bank is in 17.

8:53 The Cricket store is on the northeast corner of the Milwaukee/Central Park intersection. It's not that noticeable.
Thank you. You're right, it's not noticeable. I go to that corner once in a while and have never noticed it. The next time I go there, I'll look for it.
