Battery @ Belmont and Milwaukee Gets Slow Down

Good afternoon, everyone, it's 4:43pm. School was a bit exciting today with the basketball game. Unfortunately, we lost to them again. Oh well. Anyway, I'm not going to the dance tonight after all. The buses stop running after 10pm and it would've been curfew by the time I got home. So I'm just here as usual for another weekend. I'm supposed to be getting a haircut tomorrow, though. Here is crime for this afternoon and early evening.

4:45pm - A slow down is being given for a battery in progress at Belmont and Milwaukee. It was two males fighting.

4:58pm - Holding the offender. 3850 W North. At North Pulaski Fresh Market. Male being held for shoplifting. There is no security guard there.

4:59pm - Beat car 2524 is at Lawndale and Belmont, doing something related to the 4:45pm job.

5:04pm - 2524's taking one in from the 4:59pm thing.

5:08pm - Beat car 2521 has a traffic stop at Kildare and Diversey.

5:43pm - Traffic lights are out at Fullerton and Central Park.

5:47pm - Parker. 1945 N Hamlin. Oversized construction van parked at the corner of the alley. You can't see past it. Caller wants it ticketed.

5:54pm - An RD number has been pulled from Milwaukee and Belmont, but for a traffic accident. It's HS172352 with the event number of 12901.

6:12pm - Battery in progress. 2455 N Kildare. 20 kids fighting in the alley.

6:33pm - Gang disturbance. 3100 block of N Monticello. They're congregating on a corner and flashing signs.

6:38pm - Assault in progress. Fullerton and Hamlin. Male in a white Malibu is tailgating the caller and is trying to run them off the road. The offending car has a plate of 9740972. Heading towards Ridgeway.

6:54pm - Gang disturbance. Kelvyn Park (4438 W. Wrightwood).

7:18pm - I have to go eat, and with that, I'm finished blogging for tonight. I have to get something out of the way. I'll be back tomorrow. Good night, everyone.

At 3:37 this afternoon, a big fight was reported at Belmont and Pulaski. It was in 17. I'm not sure what occurred, though.
