Yep. More gunshots today. This time, I'm hearing word of a shooting that occurred "shortly after" 5:00am this morning at Altgeld and Ridgeway. I got two comments and an email about it, so it's pretty serious. Anyway, the person who emailed me (they are asking to remain anonymous) says there were 8 to 12 gunshots fired at the scene. My source says there was no fighting, people talking outside or car traffic prior to and after the shooting.
I wouldn't be surprised if this was gang related. In fact, within that area, there is always calls for gangbangers acting up. I hear it all the time on the radio. Wow. Something needs to be done about all of this violence in Logan Square.
