Good morning, everyone, it's 9:04am. Today is going to be a rather warm day with a high of about 60 with cloudy conditions (but there might be a break in the clouds for a couple of hours). Anyway, I'll be monitoring until dinner. Here is crime for this morning and afternoon.
9:04am - Parker. 2517 N Avers. Parked in the handicap spot.
9:57am - Apparently, there was a traffic accident at 2433 N Central Park. It's in 14. It's HR606958 with the event number of 06116.
11:00am - Beat car 2525 asks if there was a shooting in the 2100 block of N Lawndale last night. Supposedly, a male was shot in the buttocks. We're waiting on Dispatch's answer.
11:02am - Dispatch says a male was shot at 2107 N Lawndale, according to the history. Call came in at 01:44 (1:44am) hours. The RD number is HR606618.
11:13am - Beat car 2525 is on a job at 2112 N Lawndale regarding bullet holes from last night's shooting.
11:19am - Traffic accident. 3934 W Diversey. In front of Walgreens.
11:26am - Beat car 2523 asks for a call back on the 11:19am job. At 11:27am, there was no answer, so it's coded 18Boy.
11:31am - Burglar report. 1848 N Springfield.
11:37am - An RD number is pulled for Criminal Damage at 2112 N Lawndale. It's HR607092 with the event number of 07099.
11:43am - Battery in progress. 1929 N Pulaski. 8 male Blacks, all about 19 yrs of age, are fighting in the group home. One is bleeding.
11:46am - Landlord/tenant dispute. 3837 W Wrightwood. Something about the landlord turning off the lights.
12:06pm - Another call just came in on the 11:19am job.
12:25pm - Traffic accident. 3737 W Cortland.
1:00pm - Criminal damage. 2901 N Pulaski. Male broke some glass.
1:04pm - Sounds like some action's about to start at the scene of last night's shooting. Here's what I got: Disturbance at 3659 W Shakespeare. Male jumped the fence to play basketball. This doesn't seem to be too important, but with the shooting, it's time to worry a bit about that area.
1:24pm - Burglar alarm. 2634 N Keeler. At General Machinery and Manufacturing. Shot motion.
1:26pm - The 1:24pm job is a false alarm.
1:48pm - Parker. 3650 W Oakdale.
2:05pm - Domestic disturbance. 2415 N Kostner. Problem with the grandkids or something like that.
2:54pm - Gang disturbance. 4300 W Fullerton.
4:46pm - Disturbance. 3906 W Dickens.
4:47pm - Beat car 2524 gets a loud music disturbance on the Beat.
5:58pm - Shots Fired. Diversey and Pulaski. 4 to 5 fired by a male Hispanic in the passenger's seat of a teal Ford Mustang. There are four males in the vehicle and they're heading towards George on Pulaski.
5:59pm - Beat 2590 advises Dispatch to let Zone 1 know about the 5:58pm job.
6:04pm - EMS run. 2901 N Kildare. Male slumped over the wheel in a vehicle.
6:42pm - Gang disturbance. 1713 N Harding.
6:43pm - Shots Fired. Springfield and Wabansia. 2 to 3 heard.
6:49pm - A slow down is being given on the 6:43pm job.
6:51pm - I have to go eat. With that, I'm gone for the night. I'll be back tomorrow. Good night.
