Gang Representatives On Pulaski

Good evening, everyone, it's 8pm. I'm back. I guess I just needed a couple of days off. I didn't feel appreciated, though. Guess I'm over that. Anyway, I will no longer pursue the "other neighborhoods" project. I will now only cover our neighborhood. I have a feeling it's a reason why I was being criticized. Secondly, don't forget to change your clocks one hour ahead at 2am tomorrow morning. You have to set them to 3am. That's going to be cool, in my opinion, because now it won't get dark until 7. But on the negative side of it, the sun doesn't come up to almost 7am again. Third, I'll be here on Monday. I have an eye doctor appointment at 2:15pm at a place on Milwaukee, but it takes almost three hours to get to/from my school on CTA so my mom is just going to avoid the hassle of going to pick me up for an early dismissal and keep me home. Lastly, there's going to be a warm up this week. Temps in the middle of the week will be approaching 60. Crime will probably begin to really pick up then. I'll be quiet now. Here's crime until midnight.

8:21pm - Gang disturbance. 19X3 N Pulaski. Six to eight of them representing to a guy down the street.

8:35pm - Burglary in progress. Koz Park. Park building is being broken into on the south side.

8:39pm - A slow down is being given on the 8:35pm job. By the way, I'll be blogging until my dinner tomorrow.

9:51pm - Traffic accident. Springfield and Belmont. Hit and run with injures.

10:38pm - Disturbance. 1700 N Lawndale. Two people on the street causing problems.

10:45pm - Burglar alarm. 2973 N Milwaukee. At the MB Finanical Bank.

10:46pm - Disturbance. 1700 block of N Harding. Noisy people by the train tracks.

10:52pm - Loud music disturbance. 4131 W Belmont. Loud party.

11:58pm - 1) Some call at 2638 N Avers regarding three male Blacks, one in a black leather jacket, taking off from the scene, going north towards Schubert. 2) Parker. On 2525's Beat.

Yeah - glad to have you back. I generally just read and keep my mouth shut, but will try to come back from time to time to express my gratitude.

Hooray! Welcome back. Concentrating on the neighborhood that you know best is probably a good idea.

americanlt, I think it is, and I'm glad to be back.

I have been reading your blog for more than a year. I have also recommended your site to many people on my block. Speaking for them and myself, Thank you for deciding to come back and provide us all with your vigilance and coverage of what is going on in our neighborhood. Remember, you are simply reporting the facts and if people have a problem with that, then they shouldn't be reading your blog.

Great to see you are back. Thanks for taking the time to keep up a awesome blog. I check your blog out every couple days. I'm in the 25th district and that's mostly what you cover. Its good to see others do care about what happens in our community. Anyways .... keep up the good work. And if it does get to stressful, take a brake... it's only human. With respect...

Timmy, have you heard that they are planning on building an Aspira school at milwaukee and monticello, right by Manufacturers bank?

Anonymous 11:07, not a problem, and thank you for your support. And, yes, if people have a problem with what they see, then they shouldn't read.

Anonymous 11:10, thank you for your support.

KP resident, it feels good to be back, and no problem. Thank you for your support.

riskibus1733, no problem. It feels good to be back.

Anonymous 11:16, I have no idea. Balmoral and Campbell is nowhere near the area this blog covers. How about try reaching out to the Edgewater Community Buzz (http://edgewatercb.blogspot.com/)? They don't cover that area either, but they are A LOT closer to it than this blog is, and maybe they can help you out.

Anonymous 12:36, no, I didn't hear that. How are they suppose to? You have the bank and it's parking lot there. That little space wouldn't support a school building. And ASPIRA? We already have enough problems with the one on Pulaski, we don't need another one in this area adding to those problems.

The new bank is much smaller and they have a ton of empty space left over. If Aspira is going to be a problem I suggest you sound the alarm on your blog. That site is in Colom's ward.
