Good afternoon, everyone, it's 6:25pm. Had another messed up day at school, but TGIT. No school for me tomorrow, so I'm glad about that. Since I have no school tomorrow, I will be monitoring 14 most of the day (if not all day). We'll see how that goes. 25 will be monitored on that weird weekend schedule I have this weekend (after dinner on Saturdays, until dinner on Sunday). Anyway, I'm going to be busy next week. I have a College Fair on Tuesday to attend at Lincoln Park High School, then I have a block club meeting for my area on Wednesday at 7pm at St. Hyacinth's, and then I may attend 1412's CAPS Beat meeting next Thursday. If that isn't enough, I may have a Student Government meeting next Friday since the one I was supposed to attend yesterday was canceled. With that, here's crime for this late afternoon and evening.
6:44pm - Theft. 2945 N Ridgeway. First caller says the neighbor stole her purse (it was left in the hallway), and when she called her cell phone, she heard it ring inside the neighbor's apt. Another caller is calling from the 2nd floor saying the neighbor is accusing him of stealing her purse. Thanks to ProdigalOne for obtaining this call for me while I napped.
6:46pm - Traffic accident. Armitage and Harding. CTA bus involved in a crash. Thanks to ProdigalOne for obtaining this call for me while I napped.
6:50pm - Gang disturbance. Belmont and Lawndale. Seven of them loitering on the corner. Thanks to ProdigalOne for obtaining this call for me while I napped.
7:10pm - The blog will be stopped for now. We'll (I'll) be back at 9:04pm.
9:04pm - The blog is back.
9:19pm - Battery. 3143 N Monticello. Gangbangers punched the landlord during a dispute. Thanks to ProdigalOne for obtaining this call for me while I napped.
10:10pm - Parker. 4169 W Fletcher.
10:49pm - A unit has a bona fide burglary at 3640 W Oakdale.
11:00pm - A Tac unit has a stop at 4000 W Diversey.
11:08pm - Reckless driver. Pulaski and Wabansia.
12:00am - I'm going to bed. See you all tomorrow. Goodnight, everyone.

Tonight seemed pretty quiet for a change here in central Logan Square.
Thankfully no gunshots or car chases
Since Weiss left, the cops have been out of control. They think its "Animal house" with their geting drunk and raping women. Bring back Weiss!
Anonymous 3:25, that's good to hear.
bobbo, that was one occasion. It was an isolated incident. Those two cops deserve a huge slap in the face, but don't mix all of the cops together, and DON'T bring back Weiss. The department has been much better without him.
I agree with you Timmy. Weiss never challenged the useless high-ranking cops with clout. Most of his "reforms" were just window dressing to take the heat off of Daley. Those two guys in 023 did this before, acc. to rumors, and that was during Weiss.
