Good morning, everyone, it's 12am. There has been a lot of music calls in the last couple of hours. People are really getting their jam on tonight, LOL. Anyway, it will be stormy with temps in the 70s, and I'll be here until dinner. Whatever. Here's crime for this morning and afternoon.
12:00am - To give you all a taste of just how busy 25 is, a backlog has been put it. Midnight on the dot. With that, good night. See you all in the morning.
8:54am - I'm back. Good morning :).
9:26am - Loud music disturbance. 1800 block of N Harding.
9:34am - Burglary in progress. 3617 W Shakespeare.
9:56am - Vicious animal. Springfield and Schubert. Dog is following people around.
10:48am - Assault in progress. Armitage and Hamlin.
11:16am - Backlog in 25 at 11:16 hours.
11:38am - Assault. Dickens and Hamlin. A car just attempted to run some people over, and now a big argument is breaking out on the street.
12:12pm - Person calling for help. 1733 N Lawndale. Two females are getting chased, thus the calling for help, by a man. Everyone's running towards the METRA tracks. They were originally in cars.
12:23pm - Parker. On 2523's Beat.
1:23pm - Robbery. Lawndale and Milwaukee. Male Black, or Hispanic, 25-30 yrs old, ear piercing in his left ear, snatched the caller's chain and ran towards Ridgeway.
1:24pm - Disturbance. 2550 N Pulaski. Four men causing trouble at the Marathon gas station.
2:12pm - Person shot. Mozart Park. Man shot near the park fieldhouse.
2:14pm - A slow down is being given on the 2:12pm job. No one is shot.
2:34pm - Assault in progress. Dickens and Avers. Males chasing a group down Avers.
2:35pm - Assault. 2050 N Hamlin.
2:37pm - Person w/ a gun. Central Park and Armitage. Man in a red t-shirt has a gun.
2:47pm - An RD number for a "051Adam" (Aggravated Assault w/ a gun) has been pulled from the Mozart Park incident. It's HS523X97 with the event number of 09772.
2:50pm - The 2:12pm guy was not shot. He suffered cuts to his hand, though, after falling down trying to get away from the gunfire. He's going to Norwegian American Hospital for the cuts. Also, there were confirmed shots fired at the scene. Several witnesses told police this.
2:51pm - The 11:38/2:12/2:34 and 2:35pm jobs are ALL related. This is some kind of on-going dispute between two groups. The gunshots from Dickens and Hamlin at 2:12 where in retaliation from the car trying to run over people from the 11:38 incident. It sounds like the guy who suffered the cuts to his hand was an innocent bystander who got caught in the crossfire.
3:22 to 3:44pm - Wasn't paying attention. Sorry.
4:59pm - Traffic accident. Milwaukee and Avers.
6:37pm - Shots Fired. Kelvyn Park.
6:41pm - A slow down is being given on the 6:37pm job.
6:55pm - I have to go eat. With that, I'll be back tomorrow. Good night, everyone, and stay safe.

The reason they have backlogs is that cops are sitting on jobs. Multible cars all down on the same job. 025 is full of crybaby cops. They're still complaining about Cozzi. He's old news now, so go back to work.
I disagree. I think the reason why they have backlogs is because the lack of manpower they have. They are always quite a few officers off on the midnight shift. I recall in the middle of July on a Saturday night, they had five cars down because all of those officers were off that night. As a result, from 5 to 6am, there were only two cars in the whole district, and they weren't available. I do agree 25 does have some crybabies, but most of them do their job. I've met about 30% of the coppers in the district and the ones I have talked to want to do what they took oath for, "serve and protect".

try to get a clue, timmy, otherwise, with your obvious cop wannabe mentality, you're going to end up cuffed and on your way to lockup.
Heh. Wouldn't want to be a cop in a million years, especially in the city of Chicago. They go through too much, including bitter people like yourself, just to protect citizens. And, no, I'm not going to end up cuffed, just as long as I don't break any laws. If anything, YOU'RE going to be end up cuffed. And if I find you who you are sooner or later, I'm going to laugh my ass off.
there was a shooting by belmont and california last night at about 4 in the morning . A van and another car full of mldz were chasing a guy in a car. They were ramming him and shooting at him repeatedly until he bailed out of the car and left it in the street. AND NO COPS CAME
Anonymous 6:59, sorry to hear about this. That isn't good at all that the cops didn't come. In fact, there's NO excuse for them not being there. If you go to your local CAPS meeting, I would bring this up.
Perhaps they should check and see what these cops doall night. Have a list which they would check off on. (arrests, tickets, reports,etc..) If these cops are goofing off, fire them.
Anonymous 8:37, that would be an excellent idea, especially for the cops in 14. Most are real lazy and always goof off. But there's some in 25 that do the same thing, also. Not sure about 17. But, with manpower being so low right now, we need all the cops we can get.

so, can we conclude that you are volunteering to be ticketed and arrested?
you know, just so 'these cops' can have some activity to show on their 'reports' at 'check off'?

gee, timmy, when did you get your white shirt?
and who is your chinaman?
Gee, no name, I don't have one. And don't want one. I'm leaving that task up to the white shirts working at these stations. It's not responsibility to check to see if the officers are doing their job.
