Today isn't really going to warm up, with temps only getting in the low 50s, with clouds. Anyway, I'm monitoring 25 today from now until around 10 or 10:15am. I have to be in the south suburbs today, so after I leave around that time, I won't be back today. I'll return tomorrow after my dinner. So here's crime for this morning.

9:48am - Beat car 2523 is coding out the laborers and now has a handwaver.

9:59am - Robbery. 29XX N Ridgeway. Purse snatch.

10:03am - Traffic accident. 2400 N Kostner. Car hit the light pole.

Man Blocks Driveway On Ridgeway, Threatens Someone

Good afternoon, everyone, it's 6pm. This evening, I'm monitoring 25 from now until 8:03. Anyway, one more day of school tomorrow for me, then Spring Break gets here :). I'm excited for that. I'll be briefly going out of town on Saturday to visit a friend of mine in the south suburbs, and that should really be fun. I'm excited about April coming, it's going to bring a lot of exciting things for me. Here's crime for this portion of this evening.

6:22pm - Assault in progress. 2900 block of N Ridgeway. Male White blocking the driveway, threatening the caller. Thanks to ProdigalOne for obtaining this call for me.

6:29pm - Person w/ a gun. 21XX N Springfield. Gang members, Cobras vs Disciples, getting ready to fight. Male with gun is a heavy set male Hispanic, 5'8", blue cap, white t-shirt. Red Honda and white car with several males around them from earlier call at this location may be involved in this incident. . Thanks to ProdigalOne for obtaining this call for me.

6:33pm - Battery in progress. 2200 N Springfield. Group of gangbangers fighting.

6:35pm - A slow down is being given per 2561Boy. They're breaking up.

Gang Disturbances In Western Part Of Neighborhood

Good afternoon, everyone, it's 3:46pm. It's a pretty warm and sunny afternoon. It's in the upper 60s right now. It's going to get down into the upper 30s tonight, though, and only get into the lower 50s tomorrow. Anyway, my Spring Break is almost here! I'm too happy for that. Friday is my last day of school, and then I'm off next week. I plan on doing a 24-hour monitoring of 14 sometime during the week. Most likely Friday. We'll see how that goes. Also, I'm monitoring 25 from now until about 6pm or so, and then I'll be attending my CAPS Beat meeting this evening. I should come back around 8 or so. We'll see, though. 5:17pm - Criminal damage. Mozart Park. Male Hispanic with a red hoodie just broke something on the playground. He went towards Dickens on Avers.

Good morning, everyone, it's 8:30am. It's a mostly cloudy morning with temps in the mid 50s. The clouds are supposed to break during the day for sunshine, with temps getting up into the low to mid 60s. Still pretty warm for this time of year, but hey, I'm not complaining. Anyway, I'm monitoring 25 today, until 6:55pm. We'll see how that goes. Here's crime for this morning and afternoon.

8:32am - Assault in progress. Dickens and Lawndale. Group of gangbangers about to fight. Some have crowbars and others have baseball bats. Walking east on Dickens.

8:36am - Beat car 2525 is saying that they're now at 2107 N Springfield, behind the fence. Since they're behind the fence, there's nothing she can do.

8:45am - Sounds like they're starting to congregate again. Man, this is gonna be a LONG day...

9:25am - Information for the CPD. 3700 block of W Dickens. Male Hispanic with a red shirt in the alley appears to be arguing with someone or something of that nature.

9:52am - Parker. 30XX N Central Park. DirectTV vehicle in the caller's handicap spot.

10:20am - The gangbangers are back at Lawndale and Dickens. Maaan ... well, now, they're carrying one of their own, who may be injured.

11:49am - Check the well being. 23XX N Avers. 25 year old mentally challenged neighbor needs to be checked on. Someone's supposed to be home with him at all times and no one's there right now.

6:35pm - Shots Fired. 31XX N Monticello. Four heard with four male Hispanic gangbangers walking towards Belmont. One's got on a gray sweatshirt and the other has on a black and yellow baseball cap.

6:38pm - Another call on the "Shots Fired" on Monticello. This ticket's giving information on a 17 year old male Hispanic that's involved. He was running. He has on a yellow sweater.

Good morning, everyone, it's 8am. It's a cloudy morning with temps right around 50 degrees. Definitely colder than it's been in the last couple of weeks, but it's still not seasonable weather. Today will get into the low to mid 60s, which is about ten or so degrees above average for this time of year. Anyway, I'm monitoring 17 today for all of you residents North of Belmont. We'll see how it goes. Tomorrow, I'm monitoring 25 from 8am until 6:55pm. Here's crime for today.

10:00am - Theft. 32XX N Springfield. Known female stole the caller's wallet while they were in the shower.

1:59pm - Battery in progress. 3311 N Pulaski. Fight in the parking lot of the CVS.

3:24pm - Gang disturbance. 33XX N Central Park. Three of them in a white Oldsmoblie in front, throwing up gang signs.

4:07pm - Wait, hold the phone. In 25, we're getting one anonymous call of "Shots Fired" on the 2800 block of N Ridgeway. 12 shots were heard.

4:11pm - A slow down is being given on the 4:07pm call.

I'm monitoring 25 this evening, from now until 6:35pm, then I'm going on a break until 7:12, at which time I'll return until 7:35, and then I'll go on a break again until 9:10. We'll see what happens after 9:10. Tomorrow evening, I'm attending a community meeting at St. Hyacinth's Church, and it's going to be a very interesting one.
