Good morning, everyone, it's 12am. It's somewhat of a cloudy evening with temps in the mid 60s. It's really warm for this time of year, and it'll stay like this for the next few days before turning cooler. Today's supposed to get into the lower 80s, with mostly sunshine. Today, I'm monitoring 25 from now until about 12:15am or so, then I'm going to bed until 8am, at which time I'll wake up and blog until my dinner. Also, I have the Avondale Neighborhood Association meeting I need to attend tomorrow night. It's at St. Hyacinth's Church, in Resurrection Hall, beginning at 7pm. Here's crime for today.

12:05am - Gang disturbance. 31XX N Monticello. They're drinking and what not. The 12:03am parker is on this block, too.

8:28am - Beat car 2524 asks for a burglary SOB mission on the Beat.
8:42am - 2523 has a handwaver at 31XX N Davlin regarding a criminal damage.
9:40am - Traffic accident. Armitage and Springfield. Three cars involved.
10:34am - 1) Parker. Ridgeway and George. Blue car blocking the crosswalk. 2) Parker. 2800 block of N Ridgeway. Several cars in violation of the permit parking.
11:13am - Decptive practice. 3607 W Fullerton. At the Tony's. Female Hispanic, 30s, white t-shirt is attempting to use counterfeit money.
11:14am - Gang disturbance. 3800 W North Ave. They're loitering and throwing bottles.
11:32am - Battery victim injured. 3625 W Belmont. EMS enroute for a male battery victim.
11:41am - Beat 2599 is on scene at the 11:38am job, and doesn't see anything going on. No ambulance, no person out there.
11:59am - Vicious animal. Barry and Kenneth. Couple of calls. Vicious pit bull running around the area. It bit someone, too.
12:49pm - Burglary. 3651 W Schubert. At the Monroe school. Apparent break-in at the 3rd floor computer room, and possibly more. Door found open on 1st floor. Thanks to ProdigalOne for obtaining this call for me.
1:40pm - Gang disturbance. Harding and George. Two male Hispanics flashing on the corner. Thanks to ProdigalOne for obtaining this call for me.
3:10pm - EMS run. 3131 N Pulaski. Male laying alongside a tree. Thanks to ProdigalOne for obtaining this call for me.
4:14pm - Animal bite report. On 2524's Beat, on Schubert.
4:16pm - 1) Loud music disturbance. 28XX N Hamlin. People out in front, having a loud party, etc. 2) Battery report. 31XX N Monticello.
4:29pm - There's a big house fire in 14 at Drake and Barry.
4:32pm - Municipal ordinance violation. 3753 W Belmont. Male chopping down a tree.
4:37pm - 2525 has an ANOV at 20XX N Lawndale.
5:00pm - Disturbance. On 2523's Beat.
5:14pm - Assault in progress. 37XX W Dickens. Group of people trying to fight the caller's cousin.
5:33pm - Suspicious person. Cortland and Springfield. Male Hispanic, black shirt and black shorts with a backpack, 25 to 30 years old, is walking on Cortland towards the METRA tracks, looking into cars.
6:21pm - Some call in the area.

2523's beat is just getting worse. All the crime is caused by the minorities.
Any guess what's the total number of homicide victims and people shot will be this weekend? Jody Weiss seemed to be doing a better job than this current boss.
The Parker issues would get resolved faster if revenue parking enforcement was out on the weekends.

Yet CPD is doing "seat belt" missions.
The Chicago Police dept. sucks. How about firing them all and let the real police, Cook County sheriffs take over.
Is Urban Youth the same as Uneducated, Lazy and Irresponsible Teenagers for dirty neighborhoods?
SOOO when you mean minority you mean white. OOO that sounds about right.
I caqll them minorities since I can't call them the other names. You've got to realize that blacks, 13% of the population are involved in over 93% of the countries homicides. Sounds like they're the bad apples to me.....
