Good morning, everyone, it's 8am. It's a cloudy morning with temps right around 50 degrees. Definitely colder than it's been in the last couple of weeks, but it's still not seasonable weather. Today will get into the low to mid 60s, which is about ten or so degrees above average for this time of year. Anyway, I'm monitoring 17 today for all of you residents North of Belmont. We'll see how it goes. Tomorrow, I'm monitoring 25 from 8am until 6:55pm. Here's crime for today.
10:00am - Theft. 32XX N Springfield. Known female stole the caller's wallet while they were in the shower.
1:59pm - Battery in progress. 3311 N Pulaski. Fight in the parking lot of the CVS.
3:24pm - Gang disturbance. 33XX N Central Park. Three of them in a white Oldsmoblie in front, throwing up gang signs.
4:07pm - Wait, hold the phone. In 25, we're getting one anonymous call of "Shots Fired" on the 2800 block of N Ridgeway. 12 shots were heard.
4:11pm - A slow down is being given on the 4:07pm call.
4:15pm - The 4:07pm call is a 19P. Back to Zone 1. I'll get the time period of 17 from 4:04-4:15 tomorrow. Also, from the 3:24pm job, Beat 1762Boy, the assigned unit, says that they keep circling the block.
4:41pm - Traffic accident. Belmont and Pulaski.
5:48pm - Disturbance. 33XX N Pulaski. Something about a drunk man and a dog.
7:24pm - I have to go eat. I'll be back soon.

8:09pm - Beat car 1732 has a street stop at 31XX N Monticello.

11:30pm - Assault in progress. 31XX W Roscoe. Two gangbangers trying to get into a club at this location.

Timmy, I'm not sure if you are aware but some coppers don't exactly like the CAPS program for various reasons. Before Weiss took over there was talk about dismantling it.
They finally boarded up that abandoned funeral home,I heard from several sources that your name and blog info is spray painted all over the walls....what's up with that Timmy,did you deface that place?
The city deemed that funeral place a hazard to the community. The type of people that were going there were disgusting. No one wants that type of garbage in near their homes. Absolute filth on two legs.
Teens sometimes have "Rave" parties at the funeral home. You'll see the lights on inside.
