I actually called the police today morning around six in the morning for narcotics being sold. There were seven males four latinos one white and two blacks, good to see diversity isn't a issue here (sarcasm) Well it took the police more than twenty minutes to get here, when they did they only searched one of them which was weird to me. When I called I told them they were hiding the narcotics in one of the boarded buildings in the block (I dont wanna put the exact adress here) They didn't check it they did spend around ten minutes talking to the goons but it looked like a friendly conversation about the super bowl, I call hundred of times to the police to report narcotic sales but nothing ever happens when they do arrest them new dope boys come out. I know for a fact that the narcotics they specialize in are Heroin, Cocaine, Crack, Exctasy, and LSD. I'm not a buyer but I seen there products especially when the block has like twenty plus cars waiting to score. I think if the whole block calls the police something will happen like push the goons out but I'm probably the only one that calls in, the whole block is latino and black mostly I'm guessing that's why they dont call alot fear of retaliation or something. All I'm going to give about the adress is It's close to Armitage and Lawndale.

As long as there's a need for drugs, sales will happen. Basic business. As you've said cops get a few, and a few new ones come in. It's a big money business. Some of them make a few thousand a week easy.

Cops are in on it as usual but don't let that stop people from doing the right thing. Keep up the good work.

So stop doing drugs. You buy it, they sell it. The folks that buy their product keep them in business.

They were selling that early, anonymous 2:10? As for it taking CPD to not arrive for over 20 minutes, that's probably for a few reasons. One, they have no unmarked units at that time of the day. They only have the "uniformed" cars and officers at that time. And probably the dispatcher needed to find a back-up unit for the original responding unit. As for them searching only one, maybe that was the one with the drugs. About the conversation, were you listening in? If not, how would you know it was about the superbowl. You're right, if the whole block calls in, then something will happen. But I don't think race has anything to do with people calling in crimes.

bobbo and anonymous 7:28, agreed.

You sound like a cop hater, anonymous 11pm.

drugs, of whatever nature, are not the problem.

the artificial price support system of their being 'controlled' is the problem.

the criminalization of production, distribution, possession and use of 'controlled substances' results in an inflated price/value, due to constant demand from consumers + relatively limited supply from providers.

in a truly free market society, the cost of producing these 'controlled substances', being a mere pittance, would result in their availability, to those consumers who desire to use them, at a fraction of their current street prices.

this would then result in a lack of desire, on the part of current distribution enterprises, to bother with such a low profit business, thus reducing the enormous income, and the resulting violent competition, considerably.
