8:11 - Karlov & Henderson, hit-run, vehicle to vehicle, black Sonata hit by Honda, driver fled the scene, left car.

8:35 - 41XX W School, fight in progress, no further details given.

8:40 - 45XX W Belmont, report of a fire, requests check to see if it bonafide.

8:57 - 39XX W Dakin, possible burglary in progress, called in for Apt 2P, caller thinks he hears someone inside.

9:05  - 34XX N Keating, caller states husband's son broke into house, may have alrady been handled with callback on earlier call around 1800, criminal damage to property which may all be same call, 1731 codes it a 16Adam. 

9:08  - 47XX W Grace, nearby, one call for shots fired, may be fireworks. 

9:17  - Addison/Pulaski, 2-3 males passing out flyers in front of Jewel, disturbing customers.

9:21  - Belmont/Pulaski, person with a gun a Pulaski bus stop waving a gun around. Male, black, wearing a blue jacket and jeans. 

9:28  - 33XX N Kilbourn, fire requests assistance, 70-year-old dementia patient, combative.

9:46  -  Sunnyside & St Louis, person with a gun, male Hispanic, heavy-set, tall, wearing a black jacket per anonymous caller from cell phone. 

9:48  - 1723 reports that they have two on the fence from 9:46 job.

11:34 - 47XX W Berenice, unruly party, underage drinking, urinating in alley and breaking bottles. 

11:57 - 1730R asks for all noise disturbance calls for next 15 minutes.

100th post

Good afternoon, everyone, it's 4:55pm. I've made it to my 100th post!! Thanks for reading and commenting on this blog! It's greatly appreciated. Again, it also means that the folks reading the stuff here care about the now out of control crime spree and want to do something about it. I will continue to keep you guys in the know as much as I can and at the best I can. I also look forward to many, many, many and many more posts here! Here is crime for today.

3:35pm - 1) Landlord/tenant dispute. 2956 N Hamlin. No further information. 2) Disturbance. Barry and Pulaski. Female Hispanic yelling at and walking into traffic.

3:42pm - Theft. 3650 W Armitage. At Funston school. Computer was hacked into.

4:06pm - A call back is asked for the job on Hamlin.

4:16pm - Beat car 2523 asks for foot patrol on the 3100 block of N Harding.

4:32pm - 1) Disturbance. 2421 N Harding. Nothing further. 2) Narcotics. Wrightwood and Kildare. Two male Hispanic teens, one with a ponytail, green shirt under a grey shirt and fur coat, are selling drugs at the corner. 3) Burglary report. 3943 W Diversey. An apartment in the building was broken into.

4:40pm - Person with a gun. Fullerton and Springfield. Three male Hispaincs hanging out and one has a gun.

4:59pm - Theft. 4441 W Diversey. Male Hispanic with a grey cap and slim build, just stole some stuff from the thrift store.

5:01pm - Beat 2555 has a traffic stop at Lawndale and Fullerton.

5:05pm - Beat car 2535 is talking to some people at North and Springfield regarding an incident.

5:07pm - Beat 2555 asks dispatch for an event number for a level 2 gang dispersal at 3656 W Fullerton. Event number is 13240.

5:14pm - Shots fired. Ridgeway and Altgeld. Five male Hispanics on the corner, firing shots.

5:15 to 5:16pm - Police/dispatch chatter regarding the 5:14pm job.

5:24pm - Beat car 2523 asks for an event number regarding something. It's 11954.

5:25pm - Gang disturbance. Ridgeway and Belmont. Several calls. Gang members on the corner and in a car passing by.

5:28 to 5:31pm - My radio switched to some airport zone (and I didn't realize it for until the last minute), so I wasn't paying attention. Sorry.

5:32pm - Beat 2545 is asked to patrol 2523's beat for a little while. I'm guessing there's alot of nonsense going on again.

5:38pm - Disturbance. 2338 N Monticello. Three male Hispanics yelling obscenities.

5:50pm - Domestic disturbance. 3737 W McLean. Male with a warrant may be at location holding his wife against her will.

5:55pm - The 25th district desk confirms that the male does indeed have a warrant at the 5:50pm job.

5:58pm - Police/dispatch chatter about the 5:50pm job.

6:06pm - Check the well being. 4205 W Fullerton. 70 yr old father is a janitor at the place and -- EMERGENCY on Zone 12. Beat car 2520 has a male with blue and green jacket with a short haircut just ran through a gang way, holding his side.

6:10pm - Gang disturbance. Belmont and Central Park. 7 to 8 male Hispanic gang members on the corners.

6:13pm - The 5:50pm job is coded out 19Paul since the male no longer lives there.

6:22pm - The 6:10pm job is coded out.

6:35pm - Music disturbance. 4435 W George. Pounding noise coming from the 2nd floor.

6:47pm - One of the Beat cars is on a traffic stop at 2646 N Lawndale.

6:49pm - I have to go eat now. I'll be back soon.

7:07pm - I'm back from eating.

7:14pm - Person with a gun. 1928 N Monticello. Male Hispanics jumped out of a car and they have guns.

7:16pm - A slow down is given at the 7:14pm job. A call back is also requested.

7:38pm - Disturbance. 3620 W Wolfram. People are giving a tow truck driver a hard time.

8:04pm - I have to go now. Good night to all and I will be back tomorrow morning.
