Good evening, everyone, it's 7pm. I've had a pretty good day. Anyway, last night sure was crazy. I was listening to the scanner at about 11:30 and there was a shooting at about Cortland and Central Park (I'll have a post up about it sometime tonight) , then I turned off the scanner until 1am, then I turned it back on to hear more crazy stuff. There was a reported gang fight in the 2600 block of N Lawndale with 15 gunshots fired. Let's hope that doesn't happen again tonight. Here's crime until midnight.
7:08pm - Domestic disturbance. 4113 W Wellington. Boyfriend is threatening to kill the caller.
7:41pm - Parker. 3850 W Diversey. There's a car parked at the CTA bus stop. It's been there all day.
7:52pm - Battery vitcim injuried. 2814 N Lawndale. Male injuried by the landlord.
8:20pm - Transport car needed at the 7:52pm job.
8:40pm - Parker. On 2524's Beat.
8:45pm - Two people are being arrested from the 7:52pm job. Beat cars 2522 and 2523 are transporting one each. Also, there's a parker on 2523's Beat.
10:25pm - Traffic accident. George and Ridgeway.
10:39pm - Battery. 2924 N Central Park. Male beat up the caller's friend.
10:45pm - Beat car 2523Robert has a traffic stop at Oakdale and Karlov.
10:54pm - There's someone calling for a supervisor over at the 10:45pm stop. They claim the police are harassing them and their family. Beat car 2523R says that's not true, 30 people came out to yell at the police and the caller's one of them. 2530 is en route.
11:48pm - 1) Suspicious vehicle. 2710 N Monticello. Some car has sitting out there for about 25 minutes now. 2) Sounds an RD number has been pulled from the 10:39pm job. It's HS144601 with the event number of 18641.
11:52pm - Narcotics. On 2525's Beat.
12:00am - I'm gone until Monday. I need to do some other stuff tomorrow. Good night, everyone. Except a post to come up about last night's shooting sometime later tonight or tomorrow.
