I am SO sorry for being this late, but my computer was giving me a lot of problems this morning and I had to get those fixed, and then this morning's storms didn't help anything. I really don't like just now starting the blog for today, but hey, I'm here. I'm going to monitor 25 until midnight or so. Here's crime for this evening.
8:13pm - Burglar alarm. 40XX W Nelson.
8:48pm - Gang disturbance. Wabansia and Harding. Group walking back and forth on the street.
8:55pm - Fireworks. Hamlin and Altgeld.
9:35pm - Kidnapping. 27XX N Lawndale. 18 year old daughter is being held against her will by the boyfriend.
10:00pm - Parker. 2800 block of N Ridgeway. Permits.
11:05pm - Shots Fired. 2400 block of N Lawndale. Five heard.
11:47pm - Shots Fired. Fullerton and Lawndale. Two males on the corner yelling at passing vehicles and fired off a shot.
11:48pm - A slow down is being given on the 11:47pm job per Beat 2566Adam. Nobody's out there.
12:00am - I'm going to go. I'll be back tomorrow. Good night, everyone.
Cant believe they made small amounts of pot legal in Chicago. Marijuana is still a very dangerous drug & needs harsh penalties.
ReplyDeleteWhy don't they stop all the cars carrying illegal fireworks back into the city of Indiana? Or do a national ban on them? After all, they all are made in China, so cut off the importation of them. Yeah, I know they'll still have them, but the price will be too high for most to afford.
ReplyDeleteI've been noticing a lot of homeless people outside "camping" lately under the highways. Are the police stations allowing them to sleep there like in the winter?? The heat is getting dangerous.
